Funny because Cody Rhodes is the one who actually beat Brock Lesnar this year at Backlash and not Ted DiBiase Jr.

Did you hear what happened to Ted DiBiase Jr? Guess he was a Real Heel after all.

The Aftermath Of Real Heel Happens As Follows: John Cena and Ryback were punished for scripting their match at Real Heel. Ryback was fired, and John Cena was reduced to being a jobber for the rest of his career. CM Punk was fired from the WWE while he was in the hospital recovering from the ass-whooping he received from Brock Lesnar. After making a full recovery, he would try his luck at UFC, only to get his get his ass beaten not once but twice. Since then, CM Punk became a laughing stock in the wrestling and mixed martial arts worlds. As for Ted DiBiase Jr, Ted would have a successful run with the world title. However, in his fifth-month reign, Ted got injured and was forced to vacate the belt. Vince would fire Ted twenty-four hours after sustaining the injury so that he doesn't pay for Ted's medical bills. This was Vince's last F you to him for all the trouble he caused for the company. After making a full recovery, Ted would try his luck at UFC and have a successful run, even winning the world title. The world of wrestling would change forever after Ted went off-script. After Real Heel, WWE tried to return to scripted wrestling, but the fans no longer wanted that. They wanted their wrestling and matches to be real. Real injuries began to build up. Although real wrestling did pay Vince's wallet in the short-term, it cost him dearly in the long term since his talent was getting hurt for real, and his ratings would suffer if matches weren't real. This wasn't just for WWE. This was for all wrestling promotions around the world. Promoters couldn't grasp the changing times, and those wrestling companies would soon fold since fans wouldn't show up to their shows, knowing their matches would be scripted. WWE would last longer than all the other promotions, but WWE would eventually fold too. By 2020, WWE would go out of business and close its doors for good. The day WWE died, wrestling died for good. The day Ted DiBiase Jr decided to go off script and go to business for himself, he changed wrestling forever and eventually killed it all together, living by his nickname, The Real Heel. He would go down in history as 'The Man Who Killed Wrestling.' Moral Of The Story: Never go to business for yourself. Even if you think you are in the right. Otherwise, you might kill off something that others cherish deeply.
