Thanks!! Yup I just checked Ebay and the light is still for sale. Just search for 30w LED Moving Head and you will see a list of them. Look for the seller named "Amostar" and that will be the light. Ships from China and I was told they will start to ship from LA again like they did a few months ago. You will also see 1 of my videos in the auction listing. They asked if they could use 1 of my videos to help show what the light can do.

That "thing that counts the holes" happens to be an encoder. Encoders are responsible for the precise position feedback to the main board. Although you're right to say that there are power wires coming from its connector, this type of encoders does not receive nor handle data at all.

will it be possible to change the board of leds 30w to one of 60w? does it work?

Hello Deejaybustab i have been watching your videos for a while now, Great job you are doing. I have a question i have 6 of the same 30w moving head from china that you have. . one of the led diode went out on one head. And i can not fine replacement led ,their are no serial numbers on led diode.Any ideas where i can get several replacement just in case.

That's a good question. I have never looked for a replacement diode. Have you tried to search on Google for 30w LED Diode? May get lucky. I know it's just a 2 pin device that just plugs into the spade connectors.

Hey Dj Busta-b. Just wondering if you would have a service manual for these moving heads? I bought a couple and had some problems with one of the boards. Cant find any circuit schematics on the net, and China don't want to let any diagrams out.

I don't have a service manual for these lights. Only the operating instructions that came with them. No kind of schematics are in the operating instructions.

Hey men !u said u been working around electronics for a while. I have a accu spot 250 2.light does not pan or tilt.everything else seems to work find.do u know how can I test it to see if the problem is the motors or the circuit board that drives the motors? Any info will be appreciated pal. Nice video!

I would check the power connections for each motor when you try to pan & tilt the light. Hook your volt meter up to the power connections for each motor & see if you are getting a D.C. voltage. If not then you will have to back trace the power supply as a component on the power supply board may be bad since it will not send the voltage when when you send the command to pan or tilt.

robertaco98 I don't know where to get that exact model number motor but I know that motor is a basic DC motor that is used in other devices but ADJ may have placed that model number on it so it will be harder to match up with any other motor. You may have to get it from them and that may save you time from trying to cross reference that model number with some other motor.

do you think it would be possible to upgrade the led chips inside to something beefier?

I don't think you can but I could be wrong on that. I don't think many sell the 30w fixtures anymore as the 60w fixtures have come down to around the same price I paid for these 30w. I will end up getting some 60 or 90w fixtures soon.

deejaybustab can you have this light sideways on a truss or t-bar? it looks pretty heavy for the motors and gears.

Does any one know where I can buy replacement bulbs for these? For some reason the LED bulb blew on mine after only about 50 hours of use! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Did they come with the mount or did you have to buy them?

they came with mounts that you can attach O clamps to. I made some speaker stand mounts for them. You can see the mounts I made in my video "moving heads on speaker stands".

found some 86 led lights going to use them for uplights 30 bucks check them out

chan lie I can’t tell who made it or the model number mainly because it is a china made light fixture. They are still working nicely like day 1 after 5 years of use. Now you can get 60 & 75 watt led fixtures for about same price I paid for these. Prices have really come down now.

These lights are still holding up strong!!! No issues and it's been 2 years now. They are still running just like day 1.

They were around $350 each on Ebay from China when I got mine. The seller I purchased mine from is no longer on Ebay but I have seen others selling the same light on Ebay for a few dollars cheaper and located in USA.
