His point is you need to learn to compromise , there are so many directors who completely contradict the style of their teachers. Yet they stayed to learn the craft instead of fighting to change it.

The same core is retained by most of the the Shankar movies like Gentleman, indian , Anniyan etc.. And all sac movies is against corruption in law and force .
