This would make my life show awesome

So I actually enjoy messing around with DMX programming. I know, weird lol. I like the challenge, overcoming it and the creativity part. With that said, I recognize my results are good, but not as good as a lighting pro. This system is like having the best lighting designer with you at each gig. It appears it will still give you an option for some control? 1. Could I place a show, for example, in a specific color, or colors, but still let AI do it’s thing. (For example, RED WHITE AND BLUE, for the Fourth of July) 2. Will it have the ability to connect to wireless fixtures? For example, the Chauvet Freedom line. I assume yes with the Dfi Hub. Awesome idea and looks amazing

Hi George! There is a “Color Hold Mode” available on the unit which you can enable/disable at any time while also specifying 1 of 10 Color Banks to utilize when this mode is enabled. Each of the 10 Color Banks contains a Primary & Secondary color (both being RGBAW+UV) which you can set to anything you like and the effects engine will only utilize those color combinations. You are absolutely correct, you can use any wireless DMX transmitter/receiver pair with the unit. Just connect your transmitter to the DMX OUT port of the unit, in this case your DFI Hub, and away you go. Thank you for the kind words!!

@@A.I.Lightshow What is some fixtures are not RGBAW+UV, but are RGBWA+UV? or also what if some fixtures are CMY fixtures? Or you have a mix or fixtures with RGBAW+UV, RGBWA+UV and CMY?

@blade316_ The unit supports RGB, RGBA, RGBW, RGB+UV, RGBAW, RGBWA, RGBA+UV, RGBW+UV, RGBAW+UV, RGBWA+UV. Currently, we do not support CMY but that can be added in future upgrades.

Thank you. We haven’t announced any dates yet, but it’ll be within the first quarter next year. We’re working as quickly as possible and will make an announcement on our website when a more solid estimate is determined!

Would this work with a pair of Kam Ilink RGB lasers?

Yes it would. Just scanned the KAM iLink RGB Pro 10-channel DMX profile. The Force 1.0 would have no issues controlling a pair of these or as many as you’d like to run within a DMX Universe.

@A.I.Lightshow I've been looking for something like this for so long as DMX programming bewilders me. Have registered but no details of cost? The lasers are Kam Ilink RGB 500 which I currently run master/slave by dmx cable but I want some more flexibility over the supplied IR control

@@markan79We hear ya! It was out of frustration for seeing that gap in product offerings that led us to develop this. The official price will be determined in early August. The semiconductor market has been in a state of flux these past couple of years (since Covid) so pricing has been jumping all around. We’ll certainly provide that information on the website when solidified.

First production run will be shipping in mid/late August. Quantities are limited and they’ll be offered to those on the reservation list first.
