Remembering death is amazing. During Jahiliyyah I was so lost. And then one day I woke up and all I could think about is I will die one day and 7 years on I still remember death daily. I’m so grateful for this gift from God. Words cannot express how this changed my life. Alhamdulilah, what a great creator.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He who utters ten times: 'La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahulmulku wa lahulhamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli sha'in Qadir (there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent),' he will have a reward equal to that for freeing four slaves from the progeny of Prophet Isma'il." [Al- Bukhari and Muslim].

Sub Hannah Allah, When I talk about death to non muslims they always say "Why are you being so depressing" I say "we have to prepare as if im taking a long travel and we have to know this"

We don't need 100 years to realise this message. Life on earth is short and meaningless for all of us. Yet, we fight, argue, and hate one another. We don't make efforts to care and share.

Some ways to earn good deeds even after your death. 1. Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Every time they read from it, you gain. 2. Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it, you gain. 3. Teach someone to recite a Dua. 4. Share a Qur'anic CD. 5. Participate in building a Mosque. 6. Place a water cooler/ well in a public place. 7. Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or animal sits in its shade or eats from it. 8. And the easiest of all, share this message with people. Even if one person applies any of the above, you gain.

I still remember my grandfather he died 20 years ago, many people remember those that have died
