    💜 "why buy a card for $4 when you can make it for $40?" this made the video for me. 🤣🤣 We all know it's about the joy of the process and gifting a handmade item but we've discussed this is idea in my house regarding my partner's woodworking projects. Thank you for another great video!

    Love watching you, you're so soft spoken and just lovely :) Here in Nova Scotia, Canada--at least in our school district--parents of Elementary school children are asked to send in money in lieu of buying school supplies. This way the teachers purchase the supplies needed--except for backpacks, etc.--and all the children have the same thing and it is distributed as needed. A great idea, I think. Happy Back to School season!!

    This video was great. I just received the same cam press last week. I have yet to use it. It looked like you might be missing the DK93-KX adapter base that goes in the bottom hole so the bottom dyes don’t move. Only noticed because I was just going through the parts I just received.

    You mentioned that the snack boxes had just come out of the dishwasher - so you still put them in the dishwasher after they have the vinyl? Or do you hand wash? I love school supplies because I’m a teacher! Enjoy your videos so much!

    I personally dishwash mine, top rack, even though it's recommended to hand wash only. I do it because I just really dislike washing by hand and because I have a cricut to redo the vinyl when it comes off at the end of the school year. :)

    Another great video - thank you so much! I have not started card making yet but I am definitely going to get into that! Just starting out on my crafting journey and you always have such great videos and I am learning loads! So grateful. One question though - why do you put a pin in your craft glue? I don't think I have ever known of that before? Does it stop the glue from drying and clumping?

    I wonder, is there a correct up and down to the pencil design? So if you flipped them during the transferring and burnishing and peeling…it may not be a mirror image, so they have to orient the “correct” way. Just a guess. Also, I’m still watching in real time, so maybe you get to this later. Haha.

  • @micnitram2006

    @micnitram2006

    Also….a thought…since your layers were kind of rolling up, if you put the transfer tape down and it wasn’t completely flat when you finger-burnished the erasers, maybe when you flipped it and then burnished the back, the erasers went with the transfer tape, but “unbubbled” and moved the erasers as it sort of floated and evened out the tape over the backing sheet. I don’t know if that makes sense at all. 😂😂😂 hard to explain.

    This is 100% a constructive comment! Not intending any rudeness. I think there is a top and bottom to the design. I also think she started counting which one was #2 differently when she got to the yellow part. The first two she started with the second one in on the top row. Then it looks like she might have started starting with the second one from the right, which was actually the first one on the top.

    Do you find that making cards with the dies is easier than using the Cricut? Does it do better with intricate cuts?

  • @Bethadilly

    @Bethadilly

    2 жыл бұрын

    I haven't done a direct comparison with intricate cuts, but I would think dies would be easier as it is pressing into the paper, not cutting. I personally love dies more for cards and paper crafts because of the really pretty and smooth pressed edges it creates, it's just beautiful. Hope this helps!

Gosh Bethany, I would take that Cricut back for a new one. It should be under warranty still. On the pencils you lined up #1 pencil, not #2. It was the top not the bottom #2. 🙁
