Charles LeClerc, native son and Monaco favorite, polesitter Monaco 2021, loses the grid when his car loses power during warmup, his heartbreaking NO NO NO this morning as it failed, likely result from yesterday's crash. Gearbox problems/Left driveshaft seems to be the issue. They had hoped it would survive the start at least so they wouldnt have to take the 5spot penalty for mech repairs after the crash yesterday (Charles hit the wall after pushing it a bit too aggressively), it was a gamble by Ferrari. Heartbreaking for the Monagasque favorite son! is it the Monaco curse yet again? he's never collected checkers here, poor Charles! At least he collects a hug from kindly Prince Albert!
