A house that explores the potential of Board Formed Reinforced Concrete
Architect Sudarshan Khadka explores the potential of board formed reinforced concrete in this home that stands on a 176 square meter lot. With its close proximity to a fault line, it was important for the client to feel secure in a house made of sturdy materials.

You have serious potential with your channel. Please please please don't fall into the trap of having the speaker be drowned out by the music. All the other channels like this do that and I'm floored as to why. The speaker's voice is the most important sound.

Great point. The balance here seems good though. The right music helps you flow through the video. I'll look out for this in other videos and compare.

+1 This was my first impression too, I had to turn my volume down and just turn on the captions. I do like that the camera moves are extremely fast like you see in a lot of home tours. This one is a nice slow pace to where we can actually see all the elementals that were designed!

Good catch, I didn't considered until now, and I think is totally accurate
THIS IS PERFECTION
This home won me over on so many levels. The mesh office is terrific and the home retains a warmth whilst standing strong. A beautiful achievement 🤍
Visually stunning home! A structure this aesthetically pleasing is art; no need to adorn it more. The board impressions in the concrete give the walls a sense of texture, same with the ceiling. The wood and black trim touches give the home warmth. Very wabi sabi. Beautiful!
love, love love the design, its absolutely beautiful in its appearance, the natural concrete textured form finish for me, is truly a marvelous look. The integration of natural lighting along with cross ventilation make this a functional space to truly dwell.
Great effort in documenting this, Love it! Thank you
Beautiful space! Every corner is chef’s kiss 🤌
Well done. I love what you have created here.

Helluva design Sudarshan...helluva design.
Fabulous ❤️
I love it.
Beautiful
LOVE the texture of the concrete! Would have liked more of a tour. Kitchen doesn't seem integrated into the rest of the house. Overall, I really like it! The concrete and the terrazzo(?) floors. Very low maintenance. Great!

The architect’s use of concrete here is brilliant!
Great house. It would work well here in México. 🙌🏽👍🏽✨
Sobre la sobria paleta de hormigón hay un juego de disño y colores, de objetos y niveles divertido. Vital y con energia es una casa con mucho encanto.
Beautiful 😍

Arquitecto felicidades, tiene sobriedad y me gusta.
I'm curious how's that board form reinforced concrete applied to all wall,if there's progress detail must be more nice
finally! what if I want a tadao ando beton wall, is it doable? and also, this house is for her retirement? she should've built a single storey instead, those steps are really tall, how can she go up and down the stairs when she gets older?

Client does have a room on the first floor which will eventually become her room when that happens. As of now they enjoy the setup. Thank you, Terrence!
Where is this again?
What about central AC?
Background music is too loud. Hard to make out what the interviewees are saying.
I really like the wood, it warms up the space !

I really wish you would record without music, I’m old and hard of hearing so it is hard to hear you over the music. Love Love your videos 🎉🎉🎉.

Is the cost of doing boardformed concrete significantly more? Was the contractor experienced in executing such?

No it is not much more, takes less time to build and is more durable.
It’s hard to listen with the background music that you chose to use at the beginning of the video. It over powered the video making it uncomfortable to listen to. I had to lower the volume on my tv.

Thanks for the feedback. May I suggest to turn on subtitles and lower your volume. Will keep this in mind for next videos. Thanks for watching.
And if you look closely you will see a AC in the kitchen
Turn the music off.
The sound of this video is awful! Music is way to loud, people are barely hearable. Thats a pity: the sound needs to catch up with the visuals and the message of "design will save the world". ;)
