Please watch "Price of a Mile" for the useless massdeath for ground. as the song tells us "Six miles of ground has been won. Half a million men are gone"

I wonder if you can still listen to other Sabaton songs that don't have music videos? Because they still have historical stories to tell. Overall, it's great you're doing Sabaton. Thanks for doing this. Sabaton are awesome and energetic heavy metal history teachers.

and one British soldier on another part of the front heard of the slogan... he would latter write a book and one iconic sentence in it would be: You shall not pass! (Tolkien)

My father was a psychologist in a longterm care facility. One of the patients was a young man in WW1, blinded and scarred by mustard or chlorine gas. To this man, every day was the same day some 60 years earlier. He lived every day back in the trenches.

By the way, the guy who was explaining the history behind the song was the host of what is pretty much the biggest ww1 documentary ever made. You can find it on the channel "The Great War" here on KZread and basically it covered ww1 in real time, making videos about what happened each week exactly 100 years after those events happened. After they finished that, they started making fewer videos (I think they only make about 1 video every month) about what happened after the truce of November 1918, you should check it out if you want to know ww1 inside and out

to pro and cons of rotating. today we know of a phenomenon called "combat fatigue" that limits the usefullness of a soldier. Normal troops can have between 50 - 100 days of fighting before burning out which makes them almost useless to the army. After this they are so stressed out they usually suffer severe PTSD and other issues, disobey orders, get very cocky and bring everyone into danger. Elite troops can go up to 200 days before being useless. Now i want to state that is TOTAL number of active combat days, not in one go. No soldier should see actual combat for more than 100 days in his entire career (with some exceptions)
