EDIT: Dropbox is back up and running. Downloads are working. If you get a 404 or an error trying to download this, that means there are too many people trying to download at once. The files are too powerful for the internet! LOL! Try again a bit later.

I tried to download it twice today, but I keep getting an 404 error. If I look it up on google it tells me this: If you're getting a 404 error, it sounds like the shared link may have been either deleted by the sender, or the file/folder associated with the shared link was removed.

Thanks! And, yes, I'm obsessed with gold foil.
Really cool! And the fact that it's actually a book on the history of real magick and sorcery makes it even more real
Amazing, what talent you have Danny.
This is amazing ❤ thank you Danny
WOW! You are so talented!! 🙌🙌
This looks soo awesome i love it!
This came out amazing! And I really appreciate how detailed your instructions are. I don't know if there even are substitutes for some of these items, but in the same way you showed us that there is another option if you don't have a book binding gadget, I would love a vid giving us alternatives to things that are mostly only purchased if you do a lot of crafting, like the light box, or how to foil without the machine - again, if there are even alternatives to this stuff, which I'm not sure if there are or not.
Amazing job!!!!
Beautiful!

That looks amazing! You are so talented! I would suggest either melting or putting some clear nail polish on the end of the ribbon to prevent fraying.
DANNY I LOVE THIS BOOK... CAME OUT GREAT AND LOOKS ORIGINAL. LOVE THE WHOLE THING. GREAT BOOKBINDING. VERY NICE JOB. THANK YOU FOR SHARING... *I have been watching this video many times and love this book, looks like an antique, I would put this book into a velvet lined box with window because just well made and looks so nice ... beautiful book....!!

Those headbands actually get a lot of use, it's the part of the book that you grab when tilting a book on a shelf towards you to pull it off. I think if I were making it for myself, or another person and I knew what house they were in, I'd put in two ribbon bookmarks, like red and gold for Griffindor, etc.
that's fantastic, thank you

Thank you for the things to download. Really helps me, because i wouldn't know where to start. I wish I had just a bit of your talent the things I make are no way near your standard.
beautiful, I have to try this foiling technique. This is a very thick book, with the perfect binding do you find that it is stable enough and the pages stay glued in with use?
@wizardryworkshop

I don't know. The books I've done that I haven't given away, I don't really handle them much.
This is an amazing replica! You do amazing work. The idea to use the glue stick also excellent. Love your channel.

Thank you so much!
I got a couple questions. 1. if we don’t have the big paper cut, would advise us to cut all edges before gluing? 2. If we have a laser printer but it only prints on reg 8x11 paper how would you advise us to print the foil paper ?
I can't wait 🤓🤯🤩
I make handmade books. I’m going to try to modify this into a signature book. Those are a little easier to make, the glue doesn’t seep into the pages, less paper cutting waste. The cover will be equally fiddly. I’ve used your book of potions cover to make a small book already.
Hey, amazing video as always, loved the book. For creating the book cover with the foiling, is there any substitute if you don’t have an inkjet printer?
@wizardryworkshop
7 ай бұрын
No, not that I know of. You need both an inkjet and a laser printer.
Is anyone else getting a 404 error when pulling this template up? It won’t work for me
What an amazing gift for a very lucky Witch or Wizard. Dear Universe…I would love to be the lucky Witch. So Mote it Be! Blessed Be!
Maybe I'm spoiled by the metric system, but 3/8 inch?? :D Fantastic creation - I'd say as per usual but you keep stepping it up. I'm also partial to the imperfect foiling on the rhombus which gives it an aged look.
until now! been a fan of your works.... SIRIUSly have you been in the wizarding world?!
Lol Danny wearing the same shirt right now from Wizarding Trunk! So excited for this DIY! Is there a version with a white background for those of us who don’t want to use that much printer ink? This is incredible!
@wizardryworkshop
2 жыл бұрын
I do not have a no-background version set up. You might be able to modify it, lighten it up, then print it black and white.

@@wizardryworkshop I will try that. Thank you for your hard work!
Just hearing him say 9 and 15/16ths of an inch makes me super happy I use metric over imperial. Anyone who says otherwise hasn’t taken time to hear how silly saying imperial measurements sounds

Europeans don't whine about Americans using imperial challenge: impossible
I think this is absolutely amazing!!! I would really love to win it, because I don't have the tools to so it myself!
Question: Is there a reason you don't use rubber cement to glue the cover? It was designed to not wrinkle paper back when yearbooks were designed by hand.
@wizardryworkshop
2 жыл бұрын
I've used it, and it wrinkled the paper.... lol
Can you make the link for the print so I can try and make one ?

You can make a book press with two pieces of board or cutting boards and long screws. SeaLemon has a tutorial on her channel. The best way for it to not warp the pages is putting it in the press with non stick paper and maybe a paper towel for it to absorb the humidity. The downside is the waiting.
@wizardryworkshop

I'll check out her book press tutorial. The wax paper = my repurposed sticker paper backing.
