He has the big match temperament

Not just the finishing, but the decision making in opposition box is a big difference between Liverpool and City. Liverpool are clinical and efficient, they make the pass for the higher degree chance on target. Look at Jesus in the 2nd half, the 2 chances he had where he would rather shoot from awful angles than cut it back to completely open teammates at the penalty spot. Grealish at 90th minute on a 4 v 3 break, deciding to dribble by an opponent rather than pass it to KDB who was completely open with TAA further up the pitch.

KDB is overvalued. But there's no room in football for objectivity. People WANT to see him ucced. They wait on a moment of brilliance from him to blow things out of proportion. It feels like most teams including Liverpool haven't caught up on City's way of playing or maybe they just can't do anything about it, they're like machines. They press with such high intensity from the beginning to the end, it's hard to keep up with them. I will make the bold prediction that City will win the league and the FA cup semi final, also Liverpool will drop points to Tottenham considering the form they've shown, who knows, the derby too might be tricky, but we must appreciate Liverpool's competitiveness. They are probably the only team in the world right now to be mentioned in the same breath as Man City.

In England referees have a philosophy of letting the game flow and not over-intervening. It can result in some errors but overall it's the right way. You certainly don't want something like Spanish or Italian football with whistle being blown every 2 minutes and cards thrown right and left, and I say that as a Serie A fan.

Liverpool should do the following for FA cup 1.Please stretch the field by using Arnold and Robertson more often. 2. Then mix with short passes in the middle 3. Start Dias. He will help you stretch the field. 4. Don't be too predictable. They will force you to make mistakes 5. Create long shorts. Be creative with short selection

He isn’t what we need in a game like this. Extremely clinical in moments but his overall game lacks. Not asking him to do the same things at Firmino, because he’s unique. However he doesn’t even do the basics well.

Why doesn't Liverpool have a "10". Don't tell me it's Mané.. In all honesty, I think City played better and thankfully City missed that last shot, the one over the crossbar.

The team strength is the overload and flip the field of play no need for a creative player in middle

@@gaughen obviously there is a need for it. City made a silly mistake on the mane goal. Walker was caught sleeping. They need to buy a player like James Maddison this summer. City is getting their one missing piece. A striker(Haaland) and if Liverpool don’t address their needs City will run away as the best team in the world

I don't know what you mean by a 10 mate. If you mean a creative player to make chances for forwards Trent does that.

@@Rogarcai Yes, a traditional 10, someone that the ball moves through. I don't see that guy that comes back for the ball and then connects the defense with the forward line. Mo drops and we lose an attacker. City was able to control the game. We would be talking a different game had that last shot not gone over the crossbar. The back line played well, how many shots were there on goal for Liverpool. Fortunately 2 out of 4 went in.

@@mar8309 they can definitely contend with city. They have a great signing in Diaz and really they’ve been missing on their midfield pieces. Thiago has been great when he plays but hasn’t played much. Liverpool should pursue a guy like Bellingham

City was definitely the better team in 90 mins it was clear from kickoff , a draw was fair tho.

it was pretty even, imo. City started the game better, but LFC equalized fast. 1st half more or less was City's game, but LFC hanged on, stupid mistake by TAA and its 1:2. On the other hand 2nd half was better for LFC, so yeah draw was fair, I agree, but City wasnt the better team, they were evenly matched.

The level those two teams showed, it will take like 5 years for another team to outplay them wow

I thought sterling was poor , he is just a poor finisher. City need a striker , Alvarez will solve that problem next season

Must say I was disappointed in Liverpool that they did not go for it more, especially in the first half, winning this match might have won them the league. They should have been at it from the get go, they were not. They should have gone there thinking "We are going to tear this crowd up", their attittude was not right. Don't get me wrong it is hard to do this against City but Liverpool did not even try.

Manchester City let them off the hook they should have been 4-1 up at halftime.

Thiago should have gone. Liverpool did what they were allowed so give City credit.

Foden was fantastic. Greelish is a disappointment. Fantastic game.
