Holding educators accountable is huge. I’d like to see cameras in every classroom, being streamed to a cloud, accessible all day. Those out sick or doing homework could access lectures from home. As for the extremism, students should be withheld EN MASSE and taxes should never be for someone else’s children.

@@junior.von.claire Although this would fix a lot of issues... ie show what really happens in a classroom... there are laws that protect kids and their exploitation. There would have to be some significant changes or at least tweaking of current laws (each state and district is different). I am not sure putting our kids on display, in some streaming service is the right thing to do. People like pedophiles, predators, witness protection programs etc... should not be able to have access to this... unfortunately with streaming, they will. Point of fact... how many tv shows/movies/CCTV etc are accessed by people that are not supposed to access it? If it is on the internet somewhere, it can be found and accessed. Then there are the privacy laws, that also vary from state to state and county to county etc. This is a kneejerk reaction of a solution, that is not really smart. I do not have the answer but I know this isn't it. The answer could possibly be... maybe... not teaching/pushing political agendas and ideology in the classroom... instead maybe just teach the subject at hand. Maybe focus on STEM and apprenticeship programs. Just a thought... which may differ from yours.. and that's ok.

Your concern about the internet is warranted regardless, when everyone has a phone on them. Protection from streaming in a public location, assumes privacy where none should be expected. Teachers and professors pushing ideology that’s aimed towards undermining the family and pillars of Western Civilization present a greater threat to every man, woman …and child.

If they don't stay pissed off and give them the boot in the next election, all the outrage will be for naught and the board will be business as usual. They should demand that the board check out EVERY teacher, staff member, and employee of the school district and remove EVERY questionable employee of the district. If an employee supports Antifa, that alone is reason enough to terminate them from the education system. Same brudda. My Social Studies teacher made us watch his 92 inauguration, the entire thing. Having a stomach bug, and not wanting to vomit on everyone, I took off for the bathroom. When I got back, I ended up getting a two day suspension for it. Then the school nurse spoke up, saying it was all medical, and I got credit for the days I was out, and the suspension was off my records. Your statement reverberates loudly with me.

We just put our 8 year old son in a private Christian homeschool. We love it. Yes, it costed us a little under $800 in total, but my lord is it worth it. He's safe at home, and can see his friends when he wants to. Homeschools used to be the weird ones, now it will be the public schooled children, sadly.

@@SpragginsDesigns calling "homeschooled" children as weird, is labeling, until you are faced with making a decision to do so for your own child, then your child isn't considered "weird" I always think it's better not to judge, as things tend to come back and bite you in the ass, as you never know, someday you may have to make a decision you never thought you would have to make and now it looks like you did. I know quite a bit of kids who went the route of homeschool, they didn't have to put up with all the distraction's, peer pressure, indoctrinations, bullies, etc, their focus was on their work. It's not for those who aren't disciplined enough to work on their own.

I wish you were right. I have been a Californian since 1973. There is NO hope. People here are sheep. My son moved away from Sacramento 2 years ago to another state. My peers from work have been moving as soon as they retire. I am moving to Mexico in 5 years when my teen sons are adults. I hate this place and the liberal agenda that hits you in the face each and every day here. What you see in this video is the small minority that still has a mouth. Our state government is super majority liberals. Our Governor WILL escape recall. How do I know??? His aunt, Nancy Pelosi, will pull strings like she always does. Incest at its best. We have to vote for good leaders in our states and our country to make sure that things are ran smoothly. The problem with Newsom in my opinion is he is totally disorganized and now that there is a recall on him he wants to buy voters by promising them things he withheld before. And afterwards will he really keep his word? I think Larry Elder really cares and he will make a difference. People move out of California because it hasn’t had someone who really cares about The People for years.

You folks are right, but as a career teacher (over 25 years, with a CA credential, now living in Russia!) there are a couple of things I would point out: 1) There is no such thing as a philosophical vacuum, aka “unbiased teaching”. ANY presentation of anything has philosophical assumptions behind it, of what is right, and what is wrong. We should WANT our teachers to be biased towards what is good, right, and true. The trouble is, our society no longer agrees on what is good, right, and true. Secondly, that teacher was not hired in a vacuum, either, and it’s not just “this school board” or “that school board”. The state teacher training programs deliberately foster this kind of person in their teacher candidates. You have to go after state education, not just your local school board. Better still, decentralize education altogether. Take away power from the state and county and give it directly to your local school board, who YOU must choose as people who believe what is good, right, and true, on which you must agree. Pluralism is the very thing to destroy “e pluribus unum”. If you can’t agree on that, you should form different local schools, but as long as the idea is held as sacred that “it doesn’t matter what you believe”, you will have a society that will and must fall apart.

This is the district I was schooled in. Class if '07. Even when I was in middle school these ideas were being softly pushed though the CRT/commie rebel aspect wasn't as overt. Not surprised this is happening now.

Orwell later took that slogan and used it in his book 1984 as a metaphor for the party forcing the population to believe in things that are impossible AKA 2 + 2 = 5.

The California school system is a joke. We need to start at the top with Gavin Newsom, and work our way down and clean house.

None of us have seen climate change other than spring, summer, fall and winter. One thing mom and dad, and I can agree on. And why are we having this conversation. According to the libs we should be dead already. (Siting Stephen Hawkings, Al Gore, Gretta Thunberg, etc).

Wow... the Sacramento Bee clipped the worst they could. They ignored the Native American Woman where she compared the forced indoctrination from this teacher to the indoctrination at Indian schools. They ignored the black woman who told the school board that religious and personal preferences should be taught at home and not in schools. They ignored several retired and former teachers who stated school district rules that were violated by this teacher. And the many, many parents who told a similar stories with other teachers at this school and others in the district. I watched the whole meeting. Most of it was sensible. Most people would agree with at least 70% of what was said. What's in here is final statements from people, where the crowd got them riled up.

No...'alleged' means the Bee doesn't want to be sued for libel or 'defamation of character' by this guy for 'accusing him wrongfully', as his defense will say. It's something news publications HAVE to do to cover their own legal asses. And to be honest I'm ok with it because I know the Truth. Back in the day before publications started doing that they had a new lawsuit every week, many smaller ones folded from the financial pressure of having to pay out so many for NOT saying 'alleged'. I'd rather a publication say 'alleged' when I know the Truth, than choose to not cover it at all because it's just too financially risky. Now...YOU choose.

Do you read much news? News orgs always say alleged unless someone has been convicted of a crime. It's done for legal reasons, so they don't get sued for libel. It has nothing to do with politics.

I can leave my dog in boarding while I'm away and watch a web cam of him playing with other dogs! This should be mandatory for kids in the classroom! I don't have kids...but at this point..I'd homeschool! Easy decision!

Did anyone else notice in one ear and out the other ? They just ignore , deflect and change the subject .
