doing what you do best Bruce, bringing us non-main stream watches rather than focusing on click bait. 👏👏👏

Thank you!
I love it! This is why I like this channel. Obscure pieces, high end watches and just a variety.

I try to bring the variety. Its mostly just watches I am interested in seeing and spending the time to film
That's a stunning watch.
Wonderful designs! Thanks so much for featuring this brand! ✌🏻
Thank you for featuring Minase. I've been looking at the 7-Windows & 5-Windows for a few years now. Incredible design....case within a case. I think the 7-Windows might look too large on me, but the 5-Windows might be doable.
That’s the thing about this hobby once I think I’ve seen it all I learn something new! Excellent watch and an interesting brand!
Whoa! I was aware of this cool brand but not the detail you shared. It’s a beauty. So good to see more Japanese craftspeople getting proper attention and respect. Gotta put this up there with my other dream brand, Speake-Marin. Great segment!
Simply stunning 😍
Wow that is gorgeous ❤
Their lineup is very nice. I am surprised that this level of detail is in this price range. Thank you for showing us these.
That's a very cool watch.
Thanks Bruce! This is an interesting brand that I hadn’t heard of before.
Beautiful.
Beautiful dial…dig that black and white date wheel! This bracelet looks the money.
Okay...I'm in love with these! I've just checked out their Divido and OH MY GOD!!!
Those hand-painted or inlayed Urushi lacquer dials are unbelievable in person: these are watches where you can see exactly where your money went.
That's something special
I like it, Bruce. Probably take it over a tank. Love the convex curvature to the north/south borders of the crystal and the side windows! The center set screws on the links are very cool, although I wonder if they'd allow the links to pivot over time with wear. Agree with you on the screw down crown, but like the open dater window. It is executed quite nicely IMHO.
Timeless ⌚️
Stunning as F!
Hi Bruce I have the divido iced blue. Many people says this is my best watch. Better than ulysse nardin diver, Chronometer Zenith defy and Tudor black bay and omega seamster 300. They produce only 500 pieces in one year included 7 windows divido and 5 windows.
As cool and beautiful at it is - I've never understood or been able to find out why you'd want to see more than the current date on the dial. The only time I can think it might be useful would be to know if the next day was the 31st or the 1st depending on what month you're in (or 29th...). And that would be tricky to convey mechanically! If you want to know the date you don't want to be scanning around useless numbers to find it! If I know what the date is today I'm pretty good at knowing what date it was yesterday! I hope someone can enlighten me. Rant over. Amazing and beautiful watch though...
Bruce what do you do for a living ?
Better than Rolex.
It's an unusual watch, but I don't think it will age well. Minase has been on my radar for a few years but they are in a difficult place in terms of where they sit for potential watch buyers. The safer option would be to go straight for a Grand Seiko.

You HAVE to be kidding. A mundane Grand Seiko up against this?? This Minase is sublime. The Japanese have outdone themselves here. They have taken on the Swiss, and even themselves, for sheer beauty, and topped everything heretofore. I am blown away.

Idiosyncratic brands like Minase deserve celebrating. There are plenty of details and decisions that I love, but the overall concept and aesthetic doesn't quite win me over. It feels like wearing a museum display case on your wrist, which also comes across quite fragile, which is accentuated by the sharp reflections of the sallaz polishing. You call this nore of a sports piece, but for me this is more a jewel than many dress watches. Nothing wrong with that, but it's more for the happy few who can really afford to wear such a jewel, and I don't just mean financially afford to pay for it.
Where's the 7th window? :)
Correction: Minase-- Me-Nah-Seh
Beautiful but 6k.
I think it's too big and too polished to be honest. Partly personal taste of course, but I find a lot of watches have more window appeal than wrist appeal these days. I imagine that probably doesn't hurt the bottom line though.
Abe died in 2022 though

Sadly
I don't think you should voice the s into a z sound in Minase. Me Nah Say. The katakana is ミナセ so yes, you indeed need to say "se" not "ze".
Did not like this until I saw it on wrist.
He was assassinated months ago!!! Who spotted him recently? Are you kidding me?
