EXCELLENT remix!! I especially love the emphasis on the acoustic guitar at the beginning and ending, an instrument that gets quite lost in the final mix finally getting some time to shine here is refreshing, and it opens up this song's heart and sweetness when heard so raw and simply on a guitar. 10/10, well done!

Thank you 🙏😊 It's true that the guitar track is drowned out in the version that we all know. Being (also) a guitarist, i wanted to put the rhythm a little more forward, and also unearth certain vocal parts of Morten that we hardly hear in the final mix, without distorting this anthology title as much as possible. The world has known for around forty years, i tried to stay as faithful as possible. 😉☺️

Merci pour ce commentaire et surtout désolé pour la réponse tardive... Je suis passé à travers. En effet, j'ai effectivement fait ce remix avec les pistes studio d'origine. Pour plus d'authenticité et surtout tel que je l'ai pensé personnellement. On y entend la voix de Morten vraiment jusqu'à la fin, tout comme les rythmiques guitare de Pal qui sont mise un peu plus en évidence que dans la version que tout le monde connait. Merci pour le flashback de la R5 Alpine, que j'avais à mes 20 ans... mais bleue 😄

Thank you for your comment. Actually, I thought it was essential to put the final voices of Morten. And when you only listen to the Acapella track, there are a lot of subtleties that you don't hear in the original version. For studio tracks, search on the net by typing "Take on me stems". It's easily findable in MP3 format 😊👍

Je me suis offert le clavier AKAÏ MPK mini 3 et justement je termine de recreer "she's a maniac" de Michael Sambelo pour apres me refaire take on me ^^ ( dur dur car je ne fais pas de copier coller je en triche pas je ne copie personne je me case le cul a trouver le bon son ! 4 heures rien que pour la rythmique de "maniac" (putain MPC akai respect pour les anciens qui ont fait ca au toucher sans logiciel sans pc !!! MOI qui me suis cassé le cul sur arturia / korg/ yamaha etc pour Trouver le BON son qui va .... PS : Boh je peux me considérer comme déjà un ancien lol foi de millésime 1977 mais ca va je en ride pas encore (photo a l'appui mdr ! )

Merci pour ce commentaire et surtout désolé pour la réponse tardive... Je suis passé à travers. En effet, j'ai effectivement fait ce remix avec les pistes studio d'origine. Pour plus d'authenticité et surtout tel que je l'ai pensé personnellement. On y entend la voix de Morten vraiment jusqu'à la fin, tout comme les rythmiques guitare de Pal qui sont mise un peu plus en évidence que dans la version que tout le monde connait. Merci pour le flashback de la R5 Alpine, que j'avais à mes 20 ans... mais bleue 😄

Thank you for your comment. Actually, I thought it was essential to put the final voices of Morten. And when you only listen to the Acapella track, there are a lot of subtleties that you don't hear in the original version. For studio tracks, search on the net by typing "Take on me stems". It's easily findable in MP3 format 😊👍

Je me suis offert le clavier AKAÏ MPK mini 3 et justement je termine de recreer "she's a maniac" de Michael Sambelo pour apres me refaire take on me ^^ ( dur dur car je ne fais pas de copier coller je en triche pas je ne copie personne je me case le cul a trouver le bon son ! 4 heures rien que pour la rythmique de "maniac" (putain MPC akai respect pour les anciens qui ont fait ca au toucher sans logiciel sans pc !!! MOI qui me suis cassé le cul sur arturia / korg/ yamaha etc pour Trouver le BON son qui va .... PS : Boh je peux me considérer comme déjà un ancien lol foi de millésime 1977 mais ca va je en ride pas encore (photo a l'appui mdr ! )
