A Guide to Rhythm Reading: Intermediate Rhythms Part 2: Sixteenth Notes
In this video, we take a look at sixteenth notes, in groups of 4 and two, along with doted quarter notes, single eighth notes, the eighth rest, and all the rest of the simple rhythms.

@@ssselvesss You know the notes that are often linked together? Would a sixteenth note that's connected to an eight note be called a sixteenth eighth note?

@@Free_Snooki I don't think there is a specific name for it. The process is called beaming, because a beam holds them together for easier grouping and reading. I use rhythm language for the little ones, so I call those ti-ka ti or ti-tika (16ths are tika tika and 8ths are ti ti).
