Awesome. Thanks for the tour Aimee and Victor. I did visit the Shibuya Parco store. I'm not really a Pokemon guy, but I did want to see it and experience it. Happy that fans have these options to load up on goodies.

Glad to hear you find them helpful! We've got a good amount of info over on our Japan Cheapo website (japancheapo.com/) about Kyoto and Osaka but yes, hopefully in the future some videos will be coming as well!

Went to the centers at Sunshine City and Parco last time I was in Tokyo ... not because I am a fan of Pokémon but because a friend is and I wanted to get him something. Parco does have other good shop in shops as well as Pokémon and Nintendo stores. Also why do I have a mental image of @frameoftravel probably spending a great deal of time studying that game timeline and making notes for his collection

They recently opened a new store in Tokyo Bay.

Tokyo Station Captain Pikachu in a train uniform is the best exclusive IMHO.

A few of them are newish like the Shibuya store opening in 2019 and the new Nihonbashi location in 2018 😊

Love the video. We are headed to Japan in late spring for the first time with our son who will be 12 by then. He is a huge pokemon fan and got me into it. I thought it was cute when I was younger but now as a middle aged mom I have no shame to say I love pokemon. I just wonder though, do Japanese teens and adults like pokemon or is it seen as more for smaller kids?

Haha love that you're into Pokemon now too! From our experience, there's a lot of adult Pokemon fans, both Japanese and non-Japanese alike. Hope you have a wonderful trip in spring!

They are all walk-in's 😊 Although, on particularly busy days, they may limit the number of people in the store at one time.
