Apologies for the poor audio in the first 2-3 minutes, this is taken from a VHS rip of an old copy of an even older film, and the sound improves after the first few minutes.

Lovely to see this bygone era of the RHDR, with its original semaphore signals before they were all removed in the 1960s. Coloured lights were operational at Hythe until 1977, when two returned (later three) and 4 gantry’s at new Romney in 1990. At Dymchurch this year they finally disconnected the ugly road traffic style lights there, be interesting to see if anything replaces them.

Sutton Flyer is now located at the Cleethorpes coast light railway with most of the Sutton miniature railway rolling stock and locomotives.
The music spoilt the show. If it had the sound of the engine running on the track, it would make one feel the sense and much more lively. Anyway thanks for the video.
