    Awesome! Learn all you can from the crew. Don't stand in the drop zone and try and be ahead of the climber (knowing what's coming). All comes with experience, main thing is just put the work in 💪

    @@MattGlynn I’m 19 and that groundsman kicked my ass, one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever been on, extreme hours and removing small rocks is the worst. I’m currently doing Drywall and leaving for the military in 2 weeks. Thanks Matt and keep doing what you do much respect for Arborist.

    2 questions, I’m 40 and just been offered a trial day with a tree company. What can I expect from the day and what boots would be the best to buy? Thanks 🙏🏻

    Hey great stuff, If you are labouring at first I would imagine dragging brash, feeding the chipper and using a rake! After that its using a saw and all the parts in this video really. For boots the industry standard in the UK seem to be Mendil Airstreams. They all wear out pretty quick anyway. I do like the arbortecs though. Good luck Let me know how you get on.

    You carry what you can. You will get stronger every week. I wouldn't worry about it. Attitude is most important!

    Hi Corey. Lots of pros and cons. Pros: Outside in the summer Climbing trees Good crack with the lads Keeps you fit Great fun Working with cool tools and machinery Cons Working in all weather and conditions Moneys not all that good really Hard graft Equipment can get expensive Need to travel to get the full experience All i can really think of at the minute, hope it helps.

    I got my chainsaw tickets but working on the ground you learn best from on site experience I would say. Have a look on my channel there is a video of my training. Good luck, let me know how you get on.

    @@MattGlynn Mr Glynn I got accepted into a groundsworker training course and will be trained the next 3 months over winter. Guaranteed job placement employment with a tree service come March. Im a fan of your videos.
