I completely agree with your thought on green, I love blue and as a child I used to say it was my favorite colour. Growing older, living through harder times, green is the color that soothed me. How wonderful it is to fall asleep while watching you paint ! I wish I was really there, maybe the solution is for me to start painting again ? You really make me want to do it. A while ago i tried to get into Gouache also because of your Videos. You make it seem so easy to draw with these colours. I'm better with pencils. I just don't have the Patience or Skill to pull gouache off. Cudos to you. It's really not easy.

Yes watercolor paper suitable.

how do you prevent the colors to be ifted up when you go over them again? I often have the problem, that the colors mix even if the layer underneath were fully dry and then it looks muddy...

How do you keep your gouache from drying out?!

Typically you can put a large sheet of wet paper towel underneath some plastic wrap over all the cups, that will keep them wet for a couple days. but if they do dry out you can add a little water to the paint itself and it will rehydrate them. Careful not to add too much, just enough to get the "jelly" consistency back. I rehydrated some jelly cups after they were rock hard and they were good as new 👍
