⚠SPOILERS⚠ time to yap about nerdy shit. 0:45 foreshadowing at its FINEST. Pip saying “GOOD GUYS DONT KILL PEOPLE” and then Cara saying “Actually, yes they do, all the time” which with context, that could give you the ENTIRE PLOT. pip says sal was a “good guy” and pip is a “good girl” which foreshadows our beautiful ending of “as good as dead” NOT ONLY is it foreshadowing, but it also contributes to the theme that you get to define good and bad for yourself. Pip believes that sal was a “good guy” but do others? in “as good as dead” Ravi believes that Pip is his “good girl” but does she? NO. even the birds on her wall. they can foreshadow the pigeons which is also symbolism. i also think the fact that instead of a murder board, her entire wall is taken up by things to help her investigate, therefore representing the fact that this case takes control of her entire life.

Yesss! Literally the only young adult novel I was able to finish in four years! I hope they do it justice.
