I’ve just finished buying small light setup for small venues. Lightweight equals light truss and/or trees, or even ground uplighting. The inexpensive price and size allows for fx patterns in the Lightshark. I went with U’King 30watt pin spot for sharp edges.

The white LEDs have a nice punch to be used as small beam angle strobes too, and there are UV and UV and white versions of these too!

Thanks for this video.... Could you please show us HOW you use it? I see the four buttons on the back but cannot figure out how to turn them onto a solid, non-flashing color?

Yes, but I would rather buy from a company that has a actual support department and will actually respond to warranty claims if needed!

Hi, I bought a bunch of these. I have a DMX controller. Can you instruct me on how to set up one in master and then another one in slave. Great video, thanks very much.

Thanks for the review video.... I'm looking into adding some inexpensive options for UV/Strobe for certain occasions, such as Halloween and New Year's Eve... Looking to possibly pick up 2 or 4 of the UVW version.... Any input would be most appreciated!

I haven't had a chance to seem the UV ones, but I'm sure they're great little lights for the cost!

just watched your video the other day. i was actually considering getting some of these. i have a $0 dollar budget, as all the work i do is volunteer work for non-profits. so i cant readily purchase super expensive lighting. i do generally prefer RGBWA (5-in-1) lights over others though, but have had trouble finding them this small, in a similar price range. any suggestions? i've also been looking for inexpensive spotlights, can these be used for spotlighting? or do you have any similar suggestions? maybe even an inexpensive moving head spot light?

I bought one of these, and as a total DMX noob I am now trying to figure out how to code the device profile. I'm using MaizeDMX and I think I've figured out the JSON profile, just waiting for the USB-DMX interface to test it out.

No go, I got a flicker of action on the USB and light bu nothing sensible. Then I switched to Q Light Controller and set DMX USB as the mapping, and it works fine.

Hmm...there's no "slot" to insert a lens, but an Elation LSF filter would probably work: www.elationlighting.com/lsf-filters

Do these have fans? Are they loud?

They do have fans. They are not overly loud. In my small office (12'x11'), they are not a problem with recording videos (I am using 2 of the pars), so that gives you an idea of loudness. Definitely quieter than budget moving lights!
