I'm a germaphobe who doesn't carry sanitizer. But I also wouldn't touch the bottom of the chair right before eating and I don't like shaking people's hands. There are so many people who don't properly wash their hands.

If you want to worsen your anxiety more: Hand sanitizer actually causes more bacteria to grow on your hands since the dead bacteria serves as food for other microorganisms to grow in greater numbers. That's why washing your hands is always the go to
