Since it was brought up in the comments... This should be also be put out there... The 9th member, Woojin, left for personal reasons. We were never told why, but there is a ton of speculation. However, what we do know is that he left when they were preparing for a huge comeback and the rest of the guys had to take over the lines and relearn new choreography since it changed all of their formations and dances. It was a ton of work and stress for them. We also know that they re-recorded almost all music that Woojin was in, released best of albums of those new versions and even released some new videos of older songs with the 8 members. We also know that the guys have gotten upset (Bang Chan even brought it up in a Vlive) when they see that a 9 member picture was used in the media instead of the actual 8 members. Woojin has been gone from the group LONGER than he was even in it. Stray Kids do not talk about him and typically ignore comments that do. Woojin is now a soloist (so clearly a group was not for him) and he has even asked people to stop bringing up Stray Kids to him. No matter what side of the issue you are on, I feel like it is disrespectful to both Stray Kids and Woojin to keep bringing each other up to them, to keep asking them about it and to be bringing it up all the time in comments. People need to stop pushing the 9 issue and learn to move on from it. Stray Kids are 8 members and as the saying goes "Eight is Fate".

Maniac was the first song I ever heard before watching the elimination show. I noticed that both them and the company were pretty secretive about why he left and so I've been respecting that in the sense that there are 8 members for me, and there always has been.

I saw a comment that was talking about woojin and I will like to say that they don't want any association with him and neither does he with them. They are eight now and he is a solo artists. Chan has said multiple times that skz is 8 and will be 8 forever. so no they were once 9 but not anymore and some stays have a very very hard time getting that. Chan was even mad about ppl using ot9 photos so that just goes to show how much they all want to separate from woojin and woojin wants to separate from them and no I am not being toxic I am honoring what both artists want which is to be their own group/solo artists and to not be associated with one another.

Honestly them pitting two of the lightest guys (Hyunjin and Felix) against two of the strongest (Changbin and Lee Know).. oh poor babies didn't stand a chance 😅🥰 I.N. impressed me, and honestly given the remaining pair I thought Seungmin would be in the dragged group too, he had to go against strong man Chan 💪I'll have to go watch that whole vid
