We need to know where the dice tray is from

It seems like there not much of a bad luck catch up mechanic or mitigation. That one player just completely lost the game and there was no chance of catching up. Unearth seems to do a better job with bad rolls

at minute 34, did austin miss a requirement on aponi or was there a special card that got him to that?

The add-on dice tray you’re mentioning is completely different than the one we see in this video. And to answer OP, I think the game doesn’t come with one but I couldn’t find reliable info about it.

Game does not come with a dice tray, a flat-folding square dice tray can be added as an add-on but is too big to fit in the box. You could hypothetically just use the box lid as a dice tray, but it wouldn't look/feel very fancy which goes against the usual IV Games aesthetic.
