A FRESHMAN takes down a senior in the Texas State Class 3A 3,200m Final

On Thursday, during the first day of action at the Texas UIL Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Holliday (TX) freshman Noah Strohman took down Winnsboro senior David Soto in the final straightaway to win the Class 3A title in 9:11.73. He held off Soto, who went 9:12.85.

A kid named Eric Hulst, from Laguna Beach California. Back in 1973, as a freshman in high school ran the 2 mile distance in track, at 9:04.. look it up

Enough with the stupidity already. Noah Strohman and his twin brother Ryder are 15 just like 3/4th of all freshman in the USA are in the month of May. You can see online both of them were among top swimmers in the nation during the 2017 -2018 school year when they were ten years old. That's how they built their aerobic capacity.

It doesn't seem fair, does it? I was 14 when I was a freshman in high school and was definitely at a disadvantage at that time when running against kids three years older.

He’s 15 I seen some of his elite swimming results with his age listed concurrent with the year of the swimming results. Maybe swimming is the secret to run fast 😹
Texas UIL school class update!..Tha' Noah bro' is in tha' 8th grade an' almost 18.. no frosh stuff..
That’s great, but here in Louisiana, my lil cousin Aldany Dupree, just in 8th grade won the 800m over Seniors and Juniors at our State Track & Field Championship. Her time 2:18. Her best is yet to come.
