A flavour of WOMAD UK 2022

A compilation of short video clips taken at WOMAD UK 2022. Inevitably at all festivals, there will be clashes, making it difficult to see everyone you wanted to see, on a couple of occasions, I think I made the wrong choice, there are few star performers that I now regret not seeing. Even at a relatively small festival like WOMAD where the distances are not that great, it still sometimes easier to stay where you are, rather than rush off to another stage to catch at least something of another group,. However, I still saw some fantastic acts. I only take fairly short sequences of video, I don't video entire songs, I enjoy taking photos and videos, but that's only a small part of why I go to WOMAD, I'm there to enjoy the music. Artists in this video listed in order.

Thanks, I’m glad you like it, standing at Molly’s Bar on the Thursday evening after first walking in, it seemed very strange to be back and thinking that nothing had changed, and still feeling that on the Sunday night, the same great festival, same old WOMAD that I’d enjoyed in 2019 and back to 07 when it first moved to Charlton Park.
