I connect with Laura about feeling like men aren't interested, and the social awkwardness they both share, just haven't found a Mike to be awkward together with.

She continues to get a rose every week and will for the rest of her life. He set it up and paid for it before he died. That's love.

@@alteredego827 I was one of the last ppl to see him in public and he leant against a barrel and said ''I'm not feeling very well'' that was a few days before he died.

They were really married at the time.

Clearly, looking at Laura's potential landlord, Rigsby does indeed have a brother.

Any 'real' man has a box of tools, spare parts and extra phone cords stashed away. Let's face it, that's the main reason women want a man around :-)

I can't get over how old fashioned and boring Laura's clothes are. All of them are awful. This was the 80s for goodness sake. My mother would have been a similar age in those years (1981 to 1984) and I honestly never saw her or anyone under 70 dressed remotely like that.

Mike's hair is awful too, trying to wear it 60s style still to look younger maybe, as if he's in the pop band The Monkees.

Not a bad thing, but some women in the UK still dress that way-especially in smaller towns.
