I held my breath when you said "this book is..." and paused. Such a relief when you said "incredible". It is one of my favourite books ever. A very special book.

😂😂 Yes it is indeed very special! It is so easy to connect and empathize with the characters in this book.
So glad you enjoyed the book and the group read Freddie 🥳🥳🥳 and I agree, it felt like four episodes of a series. WE NEED A TV SERIES OR MOVIE ON THIS BOOK!

Just imagine how epic it could be...
So great to relive this wonderful read through your video! It was actually my second choice and I probably wouldn't have ever read it without the group, so I'm so glad it worked out the way it did.

@@SluggishReader Yep, Train was my first choice, so we'll see if it's any match for A Fine Balance...it's a pretty high bar!
So glad you enjoyed this book . One of my all time favourites.

Saw that you liked the book on Goodreads! 😁
I'll keep in mind it gets a bit violent! Sometimes I can handle violence, but often I can't. I'm interested in trying it regardless (but I'll definitely just borrow a copy from the library).

Whenever it gets violent it makes you feel really sad and angry, so I would say the violence, while can be graphic, is not gratuitous. 😊
