She’s always with you in spirit 🙏🏼🥺❤️ When I was 16/17, my mum had a cough for about a year and I remember telling her that I think it’s cancer(I have an extremely strong intuition) & she always told me no & that she was seeing her doctor(we both saw the same doctor). It was a couple weeks before Christmas that she sat me down and told me they finally found out what’s wrong with her & that she’s got stage 4 terminal lung cancer. I remember being so angry at her doctor because she refused to test for cancer until it was too late. She died on Jan 5th & I lost my best friend forever. As much as I respect the medical industry, I’ve lost a lot of trust in them because of that. My doctor lost all my trust, especially knowing my mum specifically asked her to test for the worst first. Just lost my grandma to medical neglect in May - same week as my birthday. The loss is absolutely devastating. While I cannot know the pain you're enduring, i do know mine and maaan. Man. It's unbelievable and agonizing. Take all the time you need to focus on you and family. If that includes not vlogging, that's okay. We're here for you whenever you are here for you, but you and family come first and foremost. All my love. I'm so SO glad you have the Disney Wish starting today to focus on. Enjoy that magic.

Totally. Those doctors should've caught it sooner. Like come on, a patient can't breath, you run tests, ya find out super fast what's wrong. That and you can find out real fast if it's cancer and where it is. Those doctors are the definition of negligent.

I wish it were that easy! My family had a similar situation and we tried filing a lawsuit for medical malpractice and it was such a long process that at the end we didn’t win. I wish we knew that before so our family didn’t have to go through the stress it really wasn’t worth it. It’s so sad to even say. The best thing her family can do is spread awareness and remember to always always always get a second third and fourth opinion!!! Sorry for your loss Jess ❤️

@@prettyyoungthing1008 yeah, I mean if you have a good law team you can win. Plus having records of doctors, hospital trips and tests, everything. If I remember right, you can file a complaint or malpractice complaint type thing online and it will help.

@@Rosewolf29 Agreed people have won malpractice lawsuits but many have also lost cause you know capitalism. Hospitals will always side with their workers and protect them it’s sad what money can do.

I lost my father 2 years ago. It was a big shock for me and my family. At first, I did not allow myself to show any emotion. One day my mom suggested getting professional help, so I did. The psychologist told me it's okay to be sad and cry. Promise me you will take the time to mourn Jess. I can recommend talking to a psychologist. It helped me a lot. My condolences for your loss

I’m so sorry for your loss. Especially for the way that it happened. That shouldn’t have gone unnoticed if she has been to the dr multiple times. I lost both my grandma’s in the same year when I was 15 so I know what your going through ❤️ you just have to take it day by day

My grandma during COVID was neglected in rehab and she ended up passing away in Jan 2021. We were able to be with her too. I feel your pain so much. Jess I’m so sorry for your loss!! My grandfather passed in Nov. 2019 due to cancer as well. Luckily when he started showing he wasn’t feeling well they found the cancer but it had already spread all throughout his body. It was from Sep to Nov that he had his cancer journey. He got on Hospice sometime in Oct. It was really hard for me and my sis because I was 9 she was 6 and my dad stayed with my grandma almost the entire time my Grandpa was sick so the person I wanted to be comforted by most wasn’t there either. I hope you know we’re here for you and we understand your pain

I’m so sorry for your loss. Her story sounds pretty similar to how my mom passed. She started having trouble breathing and was in hospital with pneumonia for a month and she was never diagnosed but she decided to come home on hospice. She passed within 48 hours. She went peacefully but it was a bit of a shock.that was in March and April 2020. My thoughts are it’s you and the fam😢

It feels a lot like what happened to my mother. She was not doing well for a while. Problems with her kidneys. Went to the doctors, so many times. Turns out she had cervical cancer. We thought she could fight it. Eventually we found out that there was cancer all over her body and that we would only have a few weeks of her being coherent. How no one found it is mind blowing. She passed a way in the beginning of April 2020. Our dad died due to some weird medical stuff/broken heart at the end of May 2020. I am so sorry for your loss. The pain and the anger of the time you were robbed of is min numbing sometime. Take extra care of your grandfather and dad. Lots of ❤️.

That is the most crazy story I have ever heard! I don’t even know how it is possible for that to go unnoticed for so long! I am not a doctor, nor am I studying to be a doctor. But if someone was complaining about being sick for a while I would suggest checking for cancer. And it went downhill so fast! As someone who jsut went through an almost identical situation I totally get how frustrating it is. After months of my grandmother being sick, and being told everything was fine, we found out she had pancreatic cancer. We lost months of potential treatment. On top of that they decided to not rush any tests because “she was old”. So more weeks of treatment should could have had, but because of her age they didn’t give a shit. She was stolen from us. She passed in March. My grandfather died of a broken heart two months later.

Had a similar experience with my dad. The difference being my dad hated doctors and didn't go to the doctors and didn't do scans or anything unless he had to. My dad was diagnosed on the 4th Feb and died on the 31st March. He went from feeling absolutely fine to being in palliative care 1 week before he passed. I miss him everyday

Hey Jess, to get the sticky stickers off your ceiling go to Walmart and buy “goo gone” its a spray bottle and is a brownish amber color. Spray the sticky wait a little bit and then scrape off. I’ve used it for duct tape residue and it works like a charm.

I am so sorry for your loss, I can relate. My grandad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer the end of last year after being told for years it was just bronchitis without any investigation, the difference is he was fit and healthy until he had one treatment of chemo and immunotherapy. He never recovered from that and passed away 15th May this year after turning 80, it was so sudden and we thought we would have more time with him. His funeral was before fathers day. I am so sorry that her doctors were negligent and for that reason your family did not even have time to comprehend what was going on or even prepare for what was to come. The only thing that gets me through is that they are no longer in pain or suffering.

I know the pain all to well, as my family went through the same thing with my father two years ago. In May 2020 my father wasn’t feeling well, went to an urgent care facility only to find out he had stage 4 lung cancer that had spread throughout his body. We were told by the first hospital he went to that he would 3-5 years to live, and that the cancer hadn’t spread everywhere in his body. A month later he got worse and worse and they had no explanation, we went to another hospital where they told us he had 2-3 weeks to live. He ended up passing away a week an and a half later. July 5th will mark two years since his passing. Truly a horrible thing to go through

So sorry for your loss, Jess. Went through the exact same thing with my daughter in law’s grandma. Been doctoring for so long with a hometown doctor because she didn’t feel good, they kept finding nothing. Then decided to take her gallbladder. During surgery two weeks ago they had to sew her back up because she was full of cancer. Two weeks later she has 24 hours to live. So very sad.

Went through the same thing with my great uncle. They lived in Gulfport Mississippi but doctors ignoring what was going on and ended up going to Texas to a different doctor to sadly find out it was too late and ended up catching Covid on top of stomach cancer and died within a week. My great aunt is now a widow and beat Covid.

I’m so sorry Jess… it’s crazy I’ve known a few people, including my aunt, to pass recently who passed at 79…. Not that that means anything just feels like that’s still so young. I am praying for you guys during this difficult time😔
