By midday, no fatalities had been reported, but the situation had become worse. Météo-France still predicts water levels of between 80 and 100 millimeters before the warning ends tonight at 22.00. The departments of Meurthe-et-Moselle and Vosges remain on orange alert.
According to Florian Pasiecznik, founder of the Météo Lor website, "rain disruptions will continue in the northern parts of Lorraine and the Moselle where the equivalent of 2 to 3 weeks' worth of rainfall (sometimes more locally) is expected until the afternoon, in addition to what has already been fall."
