Fantastic! A great time, great pictures, and a great video! I'm actually weighing the F3/T vs FM3A right now. the sticking point for me on the F3 is the LED. I prefer match needle. Regardless, it'll have the Voigtlander 58mm permanently living on it:)

The Nikon F3/T is the ultimate Nikon F3 version imo, used to own one and I loved the feel of it in the hand. Ultimately not for me I prefer rangefinders but I enjoyed my time with it. The champagne version is also much sexier than the black.

Awesome video. Put in a lot of effort and it shows. The photographs look amazing as always, but the digital color is also superb. Do you mind sharing how you grade your videos. Also that tele sun shot? 200mm?
@BraeHunziker
Жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! Yep, 70-200mm for the sunrise. I just slap the Gen 5 to Extended Video LUT on my Black Magic Raw footage in DaVinci Resolve, warm up the footage a bit, add contrast/saturation. The color science from the BMPCC 6K is unreal.
I would love to see you make a short movie one day.

Stunning video as always dude. What lens were you using for most of the Pentax shots? Was it the 55mm or 75mm? I've been looking to pick up a wider lens and love the style of those images.

Thank you! Mostly the 55mm! That is my go-to lens for the system. Such an awesome focal length on 6x7.

You deserve more subs. the effort that you put in for the video is great. It is difficult to film and do photography at the same time. I hate those hyped film youtubers who only use their phone for their video production, and brag how many rolls of film they shot. I don't know if they are lazy or what. And they also shoot the same thing lol. Great shots btw. I miss my f3/t :(

Very cool man, love the photos AND the video footage as always! I also appreciate seeing you shoot a variety of film stocks during one single trip (some people stick to the same film stock and it's a bit boring for me). Just one little thing: in this video it seems the music is quite loud compared to the parts where you speak.

Thanks dude! Was nice to spice it up on this trip. And yeah sometimes I like to push the music volume a bit too much perhaps. I like it to feel impactful lol. Oahu was our home for 10 years before moving to the pacific northwest Oregon PDX area. I used to go to many pacific islands on Military Hop flights and hang till the next Hop showed up. I learned with a Canon AE1 which always had perfect exposure, then went to a Nikon FM2 which required more thought due to its exposure vs film type properties. I remember those colors I see in your pictures. Thanks for the memories
