Why people don't get that, I will never understand. I watch a lot of these true crime videos and also everyday court videos from channels like Law Talk with Mike and Old Squishy Garden, etc. and a lot of these criminals incriminate themselves through phone calls and letters. The only letters that can't be read by the select guards are correspondence between an inmate and their lawyer. Not sure about those types of phone calls but family/friends letters and calls are monitored. Then they get in court and lie under oath and the Pros. Lawyer hits them with the "I would like to enter Exhibit A to the court your honor. The suspect's phone call/letter to his mother talking about where he hid the bloody sheet..."

I worked at a prison for over 24 years. The number of women in that time period that were found in inappropriate relationships with male inmates is well over two hundred. Not a single one went to prison for it, but one did get a couple weeks in a county jail. I could count on one hand the other women prosecuted, but only for bringing in contraband to their lover, not the actual relationship. I know of at least 3 confirmed pregnancies, though more are rumored. Some have even been caught in the act . Men who have sex of any type with women inmates will absolutely be prosecuted,, and will be registered as sex offenders. They should be, but when did equality no longer become the goal?

I met a female guard that worked in a mens prison through a friend that was dating her. Over general conversation i said i didn't think women could be gaurds in a male prison and men couldn't be gaurds in a women's prison. Her exact reply was yes, we can women are not pigs like men we can control ourselves. About 6 months later i ran into my friend and asked him how his girlfriend was doing. He told not well she was no longer his girlfriend and she was in jail for having sex with the inmates. He said when he found out the first thing that ran through is mind was that conversation we had when i said that about women in mens prisons.

That’s incredible. And yes I 100% agree that there shouldn’t be guards of opposite genders in prisons. Much of my extended family work as corrections officers and they said every year, there’s tons of female guards caught sleeping with inmates. The even worse part is the prisons often bury it to save face. They’ll fire the female officer but they’ll give her a pension or a nice severance.

It makes sense when you think of it that way. When you consider she is just trying to bond with her higher ups, befriend her laterals, negotiate and talk her way out of it, before it goes anywhere, or gets processed, or becomes anything serious, then you understand why she proceeded this way. Expecting to get off with just 'a warning'. Only thing different is this is the ONE/FIRST TIME it didn't help her to proceed that way, because at this point, karma had finally arrived carrying a summons with her name on it.

Well, it depends. When men has historically done it, it's often violent/forced. Not really the same as seducing someone. If it's "consensual", it should be dealt with differently, after all. It's more an issue of unprofessionalism, and a power dynamic (similar to a teacher/student relation, where the student is 18+. The teacher won't be jailed, but might lose their ability to teach, because you just can't do that kind of thing when it's supposed to be your job).

20 yrs seems a bit crazy considering most actual criminals don't get that much time for much worse offenses. If it was a rape maybe. But 2 willing participants. No matter your job status, should not go to jail for 20 years. I mean at most probation maybe. But the jails are so full and it's partly because people who do minimal offenses are put behind bars for too long while actual violent and horrible crimes get less time or none at all which is disgusting.

I just had got jumped and stabbed in downtown Cincinnati Ohio last April. . By 13 people. And they was all yelling racist shit while beating me and my girlfriend up. She had to have surgery on her eye because she had kept getting stomped on her face, she got a double orbital fracture. Had to have bone removed and replaced with a metal plate because the broken bone fragments were obstructing her eye movement. She couldn't see out of it for 3 week. I had cuts, broken collar bone fractured ribs and broken pinky finger. Not one of our random attackers spent more than a day in jail, and not one felony. Although some of them were already convicted felons. Only some of them got Misdemeanors. ... I asked the prosecutor who is a black lady, I said what if 13 white folks was going around beating up blk couples downtown, on camera, you think they'd be charged with a felony. She said " %100, felonious assault with a weapon, criminal mischief ,hate crimes and more." Just saying. Her words not mine. Then the victims advocate try making it to seem like it's our fault for being downtown, like??? We were on FOUNTAIN SQUARE, not in the mf projects. TF!!!!

I worked as a correctional officer at the Miami Dade County jail in 1972. Floor 1 was intake and there was zero chance for “alone” time because it was always very busy. Floor 2 was solely for women prisoners and it was always 100% female guards. Floors 3 through 6 were strictly male prisoners and it was strictly male guards at all times. I’m not saying there was never any misbehavior between guards and prisoners but there was never any that I was aware of. Fifty years later and I’m retired but doing once a week voluntary educational work at a state prison in north Florida. It is a privately owned prison doing contract work for the state of Florida and this is very common in Florida. The entire population of 900+ prisoners are all male and there are many female correctional officers, female nurses, and female teachers. I’m old school but this mixing of sexes in a prison environment is a stupid and dangerous situation. The officer in this video has very poor judgment and belongs in a different career.

I worked at a jail for 5 years in administration, women and men getting walked out of the building for messing with inmates was a common occurrence, nurses and women officers were typically the main people to get caught, what they failed to realize is you will always get caught because, other jealous inmates will snitch or if they stop the inmate will get mad and tell on the officer

Exactly too many eyes watching , people should have better common sense. I mean they are in jail. 💀. You should have better self-esteem and realize you can do better. And you will be humiliated +. lose your job and it’s +. illegal not worth it.

@@user-om6oc1ix8s bro, its not hard if that's all you want, these are the types of women that don't get attention from men they like, but men in prison after months, years, will sleep with any women. Talk to her like she's Kim K. Make her feel like she's never felt because some man is so obsessed with her, that's how this happens. She's a hit it and quit it outside prison. Inside prison, she's miss universe.

There are a couple of clarifications that should be explained. This, according to the video, is a jail, and not a prison. There is a big difference in types of offenders, as well as the security level. Because jails have a mixed population, it is a necessity to have both male and female guards.

I worked with a crooked prison officer, her husband was one of the supervisors and she had 3 kids. The prisoner she was "managing" was a child s@x offender. I didn't like her and felt she was off. The bosses were so far up her arse they had a go at me for having a go at her about her attitude toward work. Well, they ate shit when she went to court and threw them under the bus.
