One of the most colorful and exciting events in recent history is undoubtedly the 2fold celebration that brought to hundreds of religious men and women, priests and well wishers to the Kumbo Cathedral on Friday, 31st of May 2024: the inauguration of three new provinces from the one Cameroon province of the Tertiary sisters of St. Francis. In1935, five religious women arrived from Brixen to begin. What would eventually be the Cameroon province of the tertiary sisters of Saint Francis. Over the years the presence of the sisters quickly expanded to the nearby countries. In response to this tremendous gross 2019 general chapter of the tertiary sisters mandated a restructuring before 2025.
This long-awaited dream came to fulfillment on May 31, 2024
