I love this Build and the fact that they got Ethan a service dog just made me cry. I know this happened a while ago but the fact that he got a service dog to help him is just huge.

This mother n father, brothers deserve this new home...n it will b touched with th help from Miranda n Cheryl n their songs n music... th builders, th community, Make a Wish Foundation n all that gave this family a change, Thank u...

So very much wish this show would continue. Every community has someone who needs this kind of help. Every community needs this opportunity to set all prejudices aside and serve while growing together. While the product of this show was wonderful, it was the process that was the most helpful. We need more of this, now more than ever.

OMG!!!...Cheryl Crow n Miranda Lambert r real women...love em' both n I have seen them on a few charitable events...

This was such an incredible series of shows by some really hard workers and great people. Some of these families, like this really used the healing hand as a way to improve their lives. Of course, like anything, there are those who abuse it and got greedy or could not handle the financial responsibilities…. They sued, sold for a large profit, or extended their lifestyles so they didn’t pay for the taxes. Most were grateful and used the helping hand as the loving gesture it was meant to be. I loved this show, the workers, and the content.

I think this is the 3rd time I have watched this! It is so wonderful! These shows that help others is what we need today! We need more positive actions.

Thankful shout out to You Tube Developers for making such memorable shows possible and the advertisers which sponsored this memorable show and person which had access to this Extreme Makeover Home Edition program to get this episode prepared for new & old viewers to revisit these deserving families. And this is one of a handful of episodes I missed watching. I hope this deserving family is blessed to have the financial blessing to maintain this home and not lose a fine home built exclusively for them. I have heard how some families lost their new home to expenses and unforseen raised property values, etc.

How can I reach you? My sister who always took care of family who were bed ridden till they passed has now has problems of her own. My sister took care of our father, aunts, uncle, her husband, who all passed away n she lost a daughter a year ago n we just lost our mother a month ago. My sister has severe arthritis on her hands that she can not lift no more then a few pounds but does it anyway. My sister has no health insurance so she works even in so much pain. Our aunt left her, her house because my sister took care of her, her husband and son. This house is old and needs so much work. Can you please help her.

Re: Your sister non health benefits. Tell your sister that if she goes to non-profit medical facilities, she can apply for all her past, present, and future medical bills to be forgiven or reduced due to hardship(s) depending on her income. Check with medical facilities and doctors about this to see how to apply. Also, see if she qualifies for Federal and State Medicaid.

They usually take out anything savable they want, most stuff has been ruined can't be saved, gets torn down with the houses.

@abdul-haadieabraha, I’m taking an educated guess when I say, the family’s clothes are probably packed into boxes and put into storage, which I imagine that part’s edited out.

@@ninademci1500 Yes. Behind the scenes part of the selection process included making plans to store all their belongings. It took a lot of planning but the crew really knew how to handle any situation.

I think my ex wife had that disease😅
