I post this video for nostalgic purposes only. It was filmed on a 8mm pre-digital camera and hence the quality is poor. I have tried to stabilised it as much as possible and correct the colour.
It was taken on a Saturday morning in August 1990 as we were heading back to London after a week of glorious sunshine. This day was overcast.

The slides at Pleasure Beach went really high up and there was really a lot of stairs to climb.
Gosh - this brings back memories, we went in June this year - stayed at the marine view hotel - now marine lodge , I was 12 years old and still loved going on the snails 🐌
Excellent stuff. I've been going every year since 1987. Remember going in the Sandpiper pub.
I used to go all the time in the 90s as a child, took my kids last week, not what it was but still a nice place to go
