I was born In Montreal, Quebec. When I turned 24 I joined the Air Force. I have lived in 8 of 10 provinces and have stayed in all provinces and territories. This video is the closest I have seen to try to explain the diversity of this vast country and its peoples. So proud to be Canadian. Our commonality, I think, is our diversity!

U.S.A America is many countries in it. Canada being one of them. We are the sister. Many don't realize Canada of America. In school they don't make you write on the map they teach. I have very old maps. You may already know that America is on the Canadian side. The word in not touching any land. It runs the rest of the letters (rica) coming down the map. Christopher Columbus finding places that were never lost. His words should've been. I located some land, let's see if there is life. Maybe some lives here. Only white man will try and sell you your own stuff. I have Inuit and french / Irish blood. I never thought we'd be not allowed to visit in our own backyard. Open borders cool if everything is clean. The whole planet is beautiful. Anyone should be able to engage and enjoy it I'm any fashion they'd like as long as it hurts nothing and no one. Human rights

Seriously? Not sure what parts of the U.S. you have seen?? There are so many places in America that are awesome and beautiful. . And I have friends that live in Toronto and your view of that city is way off. I found it to be a dirty city and had some friends move to Hastings, Ontario to get away from the nastiness and Violence. And saying most of the people in Toronto weren't born in Ontario isn't so great. Nothing worse than being a Canadian and being a minority in your own province is never good. Now with that being said I really to like going to Canada. Met some really nice people but I'm not going to say Canada is any better than my country(America) but it's different and that's why I like going there. And to you people that say that you are proud to be Canadian, I say you should be just like I'm proud to be American.

Right now I'm working with the students who plan to emigrate to Canada. So, I realized I want to know more about your country. I'm so proud that so many people in Canada value the nature that surrounds them and support each other in various projects. Througout the whole film I felt how important community for Canadians is. It's such a pleasure to see happy people doing what they do! I'm glad that Canadians are open to differences and to Ukrainian immigrants. I wish each Canadian every success in all their projects. I do support you with message that each of us can make this world a better place!

she left Canada, and her husband, headed for the States. basically an unknown Avon lady, do you know any other countries that put their embarrassing moments on their currency? the story is as fake and gussied up as the country, so in that way it may be appropriate. note that no western citizen has ever been set on Canadian currency.

We get a mild winter, have beautiful scenery all year round and really hot and dry summers. Overall it’s paradise here and we have spring begin almost 2 months before the rest of Canada. You’ve got to come check it out I live in the Vernon/ Kelowna area’s it’s a great vacation spot. We wouldn’t be so rude as to call it Gods country, but He’s definitely got vacation property here LOL

Ginny WeaNNAsley._ well you’ll be happy to know that there are 500,000 people come to Canada every year to go to school that’s about half the number that come to the US to go to school and we’re 10 times smaller than them so we have an enormous amount of international students come here every year from around the world it’s a great place to learn. Canadians caught that education bug themselves - the OECD reports that Canada has more post secondary graduates per capita than any other country in the world. That means that more people from here are going to university or trade school or college than any other country on earth. We have one of the highest high school graduation class rates in the world - Nearly 25% of American high school students don’t graduate, And an alarming number of ones that do are functionally illiterate.. We have one of the highest literacy rates in the world. There’s a reason why people want to come to Canada - and it’s because we’re smart, funny, talented, caring , generous, kind And we can get stuff done. We’re a G7 country and we have 10% of the US population. The smallest G7 country by population in the world. So that’s an enormous accomplishment for 37 million people to have the number seven largest economy on earth. In fact we do $1 trillion worth of trade with United States alone every single year. In fact every single day, more than $3 billion worth of goods crosses the border between our two countries In fact a lot of Americans find that they want to finish their education at Canadian schools because they have a wealth of opportunities here that they just don’t get at home. If you want to work in healthcare for example we have hospitals that are second to none multi million dollar facilities with great research opportunities and you get to work in a public system where everybody gets free healthcare it’s incredible.

Or maybe not, Canadians have a dream for themselves that is far different than that of their neighbors to the South. Thank you for sharing this wonderful journey - a story that showcased just how much privileged Canadians are to live in places with such strong community feeling, that result to provinces with open and liberal ideas, which then comprise a country that has one of the highest standards of living and quality of life in the world. In the midst of the federal election results this week, and my heart break that we didn’t choose a different government this time around, I became very disillusioned with this country that I am living in. Earlier in the week I’d been talking even nonsense about Western separation and Western alienation - topics of extreme angst that took me to a very dark place emotionally. I’ve lived here all my life - for 52 years, and I thought I knew everything there was to know about Canada. I was always fiercely loyal to the country, and bragged about Her every chance I could get. But then I felt that she betrayed us in the election, and that certain parts of the country were pitted against us. Then... I stumbled across this documentary by accident, I didn’t wanna watch it because I didn’t even want to hear about Canada anymore. But of course, I really DID want to... From the first moment that you talked about the first province, the scenery was so beautiful and the people were so extraordinary and yet ordinary - just like the rest of Canada - and the words were so powerful, describing each region with such amazing clarity of thought, that I just broke while I was watching TV and I started crying. And I didn’t stop until the credits rolled. And my love affair with this country was completely re-kindled - like a man about to divorce, who realized he still loved his wife. I have only you to thank for this my friend, and I really actually hope that you’re Canadian as well - because I want to thank you as one brother to another for reminding me just how important this big, crazy, bilingual megamass really is - to me and the world. If you are watching this as a Canadian far away from home, and you just want to see a little glimpse of “home” - the most beautiful word in English you’ve ever read, you have to see this video. Share with your friends, As I did tonight with my 1,000+ plus followers on Twitter. And don’t fast forward through parts listen to every word, look at every scene and hear every story - m enjoy the beauty that we have here including the people. Share it with people who want to come here to live, with people who wanna come here to visit. I want everybody to know just how amazing our homeland really is and how blessed we are to live here. And how there’s always room here... ... for one more. Thank you for so much for producing this video. I could tell it’s an actual labour of love and it was received on the other end the same way.

I regret moving back and I hope one day to move back...thank you so much for this video, it reminded me of the good old times of my childhood.
