No, I haven't tried the hcg diet, but I could see that you have lost weight. Happy for you. I would think that I could do this diet, but Bob could not. He has a mouth hunger or a stomach hunger that is unreasonable and has a great need for food. He would definitely need assistance in dieting this way. It is good to see you happy in your practice.

I had the best results doing OMAD. I did OMAD ( just one way of eating - not a diet ) and lost 18 kgs / 39 lbs. When tracked which was rare - my intake comprised of 60% fat and 20% each from carbs and Protein. Protein came to about half of what is currently recommend, again not ideal but it worked our for me. Did I worry about creating or wanting to know my kcal requirements...NO. I simply ate so I could sustain 23 hours of no kcal intake. The what to eat is a trial and error journey - your trial and error journey, not what others say or what is said or written down. No cravings - no feeling of being hungry or angry. No feelings of being high or low compared to when I was eating multiple times per day and eating loads of carbs, in all forms that it comes in. No need for any injections or any medical visitations or interventions. Thank you for uploading and sharing.

I started the HCG diet on March 1 2022 and today is March 5 2022. I have dropped a full 8.2 pounds in 4 days. My Md said she didn’t want to see me loose more then 24 pounds, related to my age, height, etc. I’m so excited I’ve struggles with this for the last 4 years with out any result. I’ve tried Keto, intermittent fasting, and calorie counting. My hunger is gone and stress eating, gone. I look forward to the end of the month. Thank you for sharing your detailed experience.

I swear I have done every diet on this planet: WW, Keto, calorie counting, juicing... everything! the only one that has worked for me long term is the hCG diet. You lose weight fast and in Phase 3 your learn what triggers your weight gains and you can keep them under control for long term stabilization. A lot of doctors dismiss this diet saying "of course you're gonna lose weight with only 500 calories a day". Well, YES; but I am not STARVING thanks to the injections!! hCG fan for life.

I did HCgG last uear under doctors care and had great results, 30lb in 12 weeks, 40 days of injections and 12 weeks fully on the diet plan. I did have cheat day and did feel hungry doing intermitent fasting. But it taught me to notice how much over eating I was doing and cut calories. i now can fast during the week and cheat on the weekends without gaining weight. If you go back to old habits the weight will come back.

I'm gonna have to double check with the nurse because I thought she told me that you want the hCG to go into the fatty area and not the muscle. She suggested about an inch and a half to 2 inches to the right or left of the belly button and alternate each day. They also had a list of toothpaste body lotions and shampoo and conditioner that they recommended so I ended up having to order the shampoo and conditioner on Amazon. That part of the protocol was a big surprise to me!

If you are using a tiny insulin syringe it is not likely to hit a muscle in the outer thigh. You want the hCG in your fat. And I agree- not using my facial cream was one of the hardest parts of the program! 😂

I found that I had to focus more on yoga, walking and stretching on the 500-cal diet. At the end of the day, it’s all about the equation of energy expended - energy (calories) consumed. I don’t know of any research that would refute the 800-cal option if you are committed to your workouts…

I lost 50lbs in about 6 weeks putting me at 215. I just started a second round and am down to 210. But the biggest thing that made me want to do another round was my pant size. The other 3 times I was 220 I was a size 14. This time I got down to a size 8 at that same weight which told me it did exactly what it was supposed to

Hi, I did the HCG diet in 2013, I lost 26 lbs (6 weeks of it) and went from a 16/18 to a 3/4 pant size. About 9 years later, I have developed perimenopause and hypothryoidism - I also had pregnancy like symptoms about 6 years after (ended up having endometrial hyperplasia) had a biopsy and everything was okay, thank God. I wonder if the pregnancy hormone caused all of this. And now of course, I am overweight and having difficulty losing and torn on whether or not, I should do this again. Did you have any cramps or twinging sensations in chest or legs and if so, what did you take to make sure your electrolytes were balanced?

  • @DrBrandyRoseLipscomb

Hi Katherine, I've never come across any literature or cases of HCG causing endometrial hyperplasia. Yes I did have some cramps and had to take a lot of magnesium on the HCG diet. These days I am prone to recommend starting with a simpler approach like cutting out all alcohol, sugar, dairy and grains for 21 days. I'm on this diet right now! :) And the newer weight loss drugs like compounded semaglutide can work wonders!

  • @DrBrandyRoseLipscomb

It’s totally the low calorie diet prompting the weight loss, but we believe the HCG may help the body mobilize stubborn fat more efficiently. It’s totally theoretical. Studies have shown that people on an ultra low calorie diet lose as much weight without the HCG but the differences may lie in where the weight loss occurs.

@@DrBrandyRoseLipscombit also doesn't come back when you go off the diet. I had a totally different experience and lost 55 lbs on the drops before they banned it. 2015? 16? I continued to lose weight for a few weeks after I believe 21 day course? I've lost more weight just watching carbs since then but a Thanksgiving and a Xmas and it was back. But interestingly enough I've never gone over the weight I landed at after I was done losing with the hcg. And I'm not super strict with my diet since doing the hcg. I feel like I had a totally different experience. Idk? I did especially love one thing about it. During the diet I wasn't starving. And I felt like I was eating just to nourish not just to eat. It was very interesting I'd love to do it again to lose the rest.
