My ex husband and I had a divorce party - together. We share a child, and we are still friends and care about each other so much! We know we will be in each other's lives for, well, ever, because of our son. We just realized we weren't right for each as a married couple. Now we even go on double dates w our new significant others. Divorce doesn't have to be ugly and hateful! It's OK to admit that you're just not meant to be married to someone.

@@raydgreenwald7788 Absolutely. Obviously it would be ideal if our marriage had worked out and he could have mom and dad together all the time. But I will take on anyone who tries to tell me that my son will grow up damaged in any way - this is real life and he, as a human being and member of society, has to learn and accept that not everything works out as planned, but it is very possible to make the best out of a less than ideal situation and be at least amicable, of friendship isn't a possibility, because I know it is not always. It's important to remember that you loved that person enough at a point to make a baby with them.

Thats understandable in terms of a breakup, but a marriage is supposed to be legal and forever...the thought of divorce is just so sad and nothing to be celebrated...unless one of the people were abusive of course..then yes be happy that it’s over

I got teary eyed at the end. That was so beautiful that they were able to recreate their wedding cake. And it's so touching and heart warming that they made their grand parents happy. Buddy said "You planted the roots of the family and now it has grown.". That is on point. Thanks to all of our grand parents ♥️

And the big white cake was simply BEAUTIFUL...!😘
