A DIFFERENT LIFE | French Polynesia
Through this film we follow a young couple living for over 6 years on their boat. They have chosen a simple, sustainable way of life, far from any form of overconsumption.
"Reconnecting to the basics, to the natural elements that surround us." This is what Rachel and Josh are looking for on board their sailboat.
Filmed, and edited by Antoine Janssens.

Whoever is reading this, if you feel inspired by this video to pursue different goals than what consumerism promotes: fantastic, go for it, it's such a beautiful and rewarding path! But if you are in a situation where people depend on you, where hanging on is already a struggle, where maybe your body or your mind are not in a place that allows you to make a radical life change: I see you, you are valid and you matter. What this story doesn't necessarily say is that ditching everything and living on a boat requires long years of preparing oneself and everything around you. And that's when you are privileged to be physically, mentally, financially and socially able to do this in the first place! I took such a turn 7 years ago and only now am I in a place where I can say that things are stable and sustainable. So don't feel bad if you can only take small steps for now, or if your idea of doing something that matters is different than what this couple has found to be their calling. Cela étant dit, super vidéo, c'est du high level et c'est un magnifique partage de l'aventure d'Agape et ses résident·e·s 👌
that's all; Wow 🤩👌👏
Corona at the end?? How come do you get sponsorships like that?!:) Amazing content man. I wish you upload more often
Hope to see you around
(At the end) They are right, but I'm still watching this video on my phone.

Antoine, any particular reason why the use of this font for the text elements? Is it from the Corona branding guidelines?
When are you going to make it to Hollywood?

I really like this! But they are talking about going away from the 'picture-perfect' fastpaced lifestyle. But isn't that exactly what they are doing? The live the same life with photos, commercials, work and so on just from a boat instead. Its seems so appealing yet so framed and set up.
Not really "living off the land/sea" if you need Corona money to subsidize it. I also appreciate the irony of Ms. Moore denouncing the constant exposure to advertisements while being seated in front of a Corona logo - nice touch.

Fish and coconuts don’t pay for new sails and rigging. We do have to work to keep our boat maintained and safe and keep our adventure going. We feel privileged that we get to work with a company like Corona that continually works to support artists, creators, adventurers, and scientists. Corona is also the first global beverage brand to achieve a net zero plastic waste footprint and they actively encourage others to reduce theirs. They have worked to become an ally to our environment and oceans, and they host regular beach clean-ups around the world. We aren’t promoting that people buy more stuff. We are promoting that people get out and experience life and we often end a beautiful day with an ice-cold beer. Something that we, as well as most cruisers enjoy.

@@voyagesofagape Lol, ok buddy, my comment was addressed to Antoine, not you guys. You can sell out to your hearts content, but I was hoping Antoine would reserve this channel to exhibit his amazing videos unsullied by rank commercialism (as he did previously). We all have bills to pay and I'm sure Antoine has his, but he should keep the hustling under the surface (shouldn't this be on Corona's YT channel anyway?). Enjoy your disgusting beer!
does a person who owns a catamaran talk us about basics and reducing needs? come on....
This is beautiful and nice, but the reality is that such lifestyle is very expensive and disruptive to the nature. Plus it is very egoistic to not bring any value to society imo.
Incredible adventure
