Thank you for the review Robey! Appreciate all the support💛
I was waiting your video !! When a side distroplate is out for this case, well, i'll good to transfer my build x)
This case is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is such a beautiful case, I held off buying the y60 because I was really concerned with how the panel suffocating the gpu. I hope they release a version of the y60 with more gpu clearance. Nice review btw!
I have the Y60 and I am looking at this just for the touch screen. The one thing I am really missing is a 5.25 bay on the front for a CD drive. I know I'm old school.
Hey there! Very nice video and especially NICE case! Just subbed! ;) Question though... is it possible to mount the GPU in standard position to the motherboard and use the Touch screen as well? I might require a different cable to plug the screen isn't? I would love to mount the GPU in standard way in order to use the other motherboard PCI-E's!
I admit, That is pretty freaking cool. There needs to be a way to harness the use of tablets for uses like this.
That 18% size increase may not seem like much but trust me the added airflow for triple slots GPUs and the ability to now fit in 3 fans on the bottom is such a weclome revision from the Y60, meaning the case not only lets thouse bigger GPUs breathe but also means that it fixes an airflow issue with the Y60 which could only fit two fans on the bottom, meaning that you'd be looking at a neutral airflow from having 4 intakes (bottom and sides) and 4 exhausts (rear and top). Now with the triple bottom fans it means the Y70 will have a net positive airflow.
as user of hyte y60 since the release and have the diy screen also i have slim gpu like my 4090 Neptune I dont have much use of it but damn im tempted to buy this
The hotrod reference got me feeling nostalgic
The touchscreen panel personally kinda blew me off. Its not attachable and it is semi fixed (double sided taped) so there's no glass panel to see the entire set up. The Y60 did accommodate a 2nd screen in that mid glass panel but making it a fixed part in a new case is a little over designed. Honestly the extra fans and GPU space for airflow was more than enough. I was drawn into the GAMDIAS NESO P1 case because of its toughness and features taken from NZXT and LIAN LI and HYTE, if they didn't add that panel, Y70 was my new choice of best overall. but that's just my opinion.

@@Nytova if they didnt add that feature, or probably just an accessory like what they did with the y60, its hands down the best one. Hopefully they make a 2nd version where its all glass. Even without that fixed screen, it addressed the GPU space and lack of space for more fans.
I want to say internal capture cards can fit in this case. Elgato has a smaller face plate that fits perfectly under the adapter. Been using it with my streaming setup with no issues.
Well I can get white PC cables and or sleeve those I can't replace I love the screen
Hyte destroying the competition with their crazy prices.
Fantastic review 👏 is there any way you can turn off the display while competitive gaming as fps means everything to me. Thank you 😊
@RobeytechLive
7 ай бұрын
Yes you can. Either by disconnecting it or using Windows to turn it off.
Yeah, I'm good. for the price, there shouldnt be any compromises on flexibility on how to set your graphics card. it's a really nice case but it feels a bit like i just went to an used car dealership trying to sell me the top of the line because it was better for their commision instead of what it actually matters.
The hyte website says eatx under motherboard. Will they not fit?
Would vertical mounting cause issues for the lower m.2 slots with the nzxt metal covers due to thermal throttling
I love my NZXT H9 but if this was available when I built my computer I would have given this a long look
Every time I hook up the display cable that came with my hyte y70 touch case to the graphics card and to the hyte screen, my monitor goes black and windows load on the Hyte screen. Would that being said, Nexus software will not detect the screen. Can someone please help
Amazing case. I want one. :)
Hey Robytech, how would an Asrock x670e taichi fit in the case. I picked up that board last month on sale for only $400 and hoped it might work. specs say it is only 10.5 inches.

same bro xD
They should do a y50 touch which would be a bigger y40 with a huge touch screen on the front
Think ima go for it
cant find any in stock
Does the touch panel have to be plugged into the GPU? cause I use 4 Displays on my PC already, so all 4 slots are taken on my card. I'd hope they'd have their own firmware that can just connect to the MB in another way to get data.
@RobeytechLive

No you have to use a GPU
So does this mean if I have a drawing tablet that connects to my video card I won't be able to have it plugged in unless I unplug the touch screen? 😢

Guys can someone tell me , how to get that Batman with red background
I do wish it could hold larger motherboards
Will I be able to fit a founders 4090 in this case? Worried about the thermals still.
@RobeytechLive

Yes and thermals will be fine
I legitimately thought it would be 400-500 dollars so the price isn’t as bad as I expected

I got the y60 in Jan. Still haven't built it since I'm missing certain things for my build. Crying because one of the main things I'm missing is the legit screen for that very panel. 😭😭😭 I have a 4080 so the new one is better for me too.... what do I do.
Looking to put a 4090 in this case, would you recommend a asus rog strix or an asus tuf card?
@RobeytechLive

TUF, you can really get the Strix right now
6 months later ... May 15 2024 ... and I'm having trouble sourcing one of these 4K touchscreen variants out in Canada ... also in Red/Black. Anyone know if it was discontinued or ... ???

Lucky, it told me not until end of February. It keeps getting more and more popular!
Honestly price is pretty high and the fact they haven't factored the Horizon mounting is disappointing
can you mount gpu horizontally ?
@RobeytechLive

No
that screen is better than my main monitor 😂
INB4 the Y60 gets discontinued soon. Shady move by HYTE there. Is this their way to prevent people from adding a screen, forcing them to buy a premium a and expensive proprietary one? Cuz I haven't heard of Y70 without a screen...
Waiting for lian li to drop the evo rgb.....
the specs on the site says it does support eatx motherboards
@RobeytechLive

Yeah that are almost the same size as ATX. Hence why I said it doesn’t really
A beautiful case indeed, but I rather put that amount of money towards a 4070 and get a more wallet friendly case from NZXT or the like. Thanks for the review.

My wife has a 2080ti and saw this and ordered one. I’m like don’t you wanna get maybe a card upgrade first? She like “dude I play sims 4 and only sims 4. Im getting it”. 😂😂😂 Edit: won’t be here until February next year 😂😂😂
It fits eatx
@RobeytechLive

Not really.
It looks amazing, no doubt about that, but... you stated: "Room for those big GPUs" when it really doesn't appear so. It seems like that 4070 is filling it and the 4080 and 4090 are much larger. You state the specs are: 16.1 inches long, 4.1 inches tall. The 4070 is double slot 9.5 inches long and 4.5 inches tall (so already beyond the scope). The 4080 is a triple slot 12 inches long and 5.4 inches tall. 4090 is bigger still. So I'm guessing that 'max 16 inches' is with some hefty considerations unless there is a TON more room inside without much more sacrifice than appears in your b-roll shots here.
@RobeytechLive
7 ай бұрын
The GPU in the B-roll is a 4080 Strix OC, which is the same size as a 4090 Strix OC. TBH we also tried the Noctua 4090 and it was fine as well. They may have gotten the spec sheet wrong, because it fits fine.
Why in the hell would you benchmark temps with a 4070ti? Give us a real test. A 4090. If it can keep that cool, then it can keep any card cool.
I would like a hyte y70 dumb edition
