Not really. What the dev meant is literally basic psychology. The more frustrated and angered you are, the less likely you'll think reasonably and your actions will become less and less rational. But it was still skill issue, lmao.

This. I have 935 games on Steam; the vast majority are Humble Bundles that I bought for just one game in the bundle.

Dang, the dev really did just show Rob the carfax, huh? He's like the roast version of the worf effect. Like, Rob can REALLY roast people and he's not afraid to, but he really does just exist at this point to show how great other peoples roasts are by constantly being the victim of them and getting it far worse than he gives.

It's very in character for the scottsman to appreciate a good roast.

Most professional way to say "Skill issue"

I will say, the ability to complete the game is not a valid response to flaws in design. Not having played the game or others of its type, I can't say who was right in either direction, but if your building a game that so closely follows a theme of games, you need certain things in place to actually be a valid version of that game type and not just a cash grab garbage heap, which most of the climb games are.

Counter argument, everyone called rob out that I was a rage review whilst he was typing it, so it's not a valid criticism because it's being made with the mentality of "fuck this I can't do it" Bringing up that the others completed it was pointing out that it was literally just him having issues, this isn't some form of morale dilemma of whose in the right It's literally an angry gamer vs a Dev who dispute the claims being made

@@experiencemaster1743 A person being angry doesn't immediately invalidate their criticism, And Just because the others completed it, doesn't mean they didn't experience some of the same issues Rob did. Look up the term Fallacy in the context of debates. Also having watched a few of the jump game videos, the game definitely looks like it has some serious collision detection and control issues comparatively. Which is saying something considering most of those games are shit cash grabs.

It basically says that this game has very bad collission issues compared to other games in the genre, and i also noticed that the animations seem to be taken from a source, as i have seen those animations a lot of times, in other words, this game is a lazy excuse of a rage game (also i didn't play it yet but if he was correct and the death and falling animations are super slow, that's just even worse)

Most B-games use other peoples assets (within legal reason) and just mash it all together usually, they're low effort rage games, again this is a pretty standard B-game. It's not meant to be good, either by design or dev incompetence. Not good enough to be considered indie (and definitely not triple A)

Play some warhammer 40k darktide. It's just like vermintide 2 and I Loved those videos they were some of the best belly laughs I remember having
