Begum Kiroglu is a jewellery designer whose fantastical pieces are inspired by her dreams. Born in Turkey and having lived many years in China, she combines Ottoman and Asian culture in her timeless and much sought-after jewellery.
In Thailand, meet Indian chef Garima Arora, who’s passionate to change perceptions of Indian cuisine in her Michelin-starred restaurant, Gaa. While she is endlessly innovating, Garima is also building an online archive of traditional Indian recipes.

    @huangxizhang9897- Then it won't be as affordable . Gemstones can get very expensive for such large pieces.

    @zarinalapasova- She is Turkish & it is prevalent as a way to have good luck/vibes in her culture. It is also used in some parts of Middle Eastern , African and Asian cultures. I think from my understanding when a person is being envious with the evil eye wearing an eye wards it off. That is how it was explained by my friend.

    No we do NOT all come from Central Asia!!!! Has she never studied geography or at least heard that the first humans on earth were/came out of Afrika?! Her knowledge if history and culture obviously isn't all that... Just saying...
