    I wish there had been more missions with Arthur and John, same with Arthur and Sadie. I loved the banter between them, and I liked how well they worked together. And you hit the nail on the head with John getting upset with Arthur for taking Jack fishing. It served as a reminder of how John had failed as a father, and I would say a bit of jealousy from John that Abigail turned to Arthur instead of him.

    Was watching your video about a spin off game. Idk about that but the next main line game should be a cannon adaptation of Red Dead Revolver. Having Red as the main character would be cool and he could either just have his own new story or could be interwoven into the story of the Redemption games in just about any way. Could have been an original member of the gang, Arthur's real father, Dutch's father, anything. Could just use the original game for a little inspiration and change anything as desired to make it fit. Idk just my opinion and would be interested in what you think about that.

    I'd love to see a video about the clashing interpolitics of the Van Der Linde gang, and why the gang probably wouldn't have lasted, even if Dutch's plans worked out. Race relations, clashing waves of feminism and the place a woman has in society, old and new world politics, freedom.

    Before the Blackwater Massacre the gang was just a typical gunslinger gang. After the Blackwater Massacre the gang became terrorists. Milton and Ross went after Dutch because what he did in the Blackwater Massacre was an act of terrorism.

    Probably too hasty in my statement with John NOT turning against Hosea, since Hosea was advocating for John in camp interactions to cut himself [John], Abigail and Jack loose from the gang, smarten up and to act like a father to Jack instead of hemming and hawing, acting cold and stand offish to what is ultimately his son and baby mama and go off to live a reformed life instead of continuing to tether himself to the gang.

    See, I always look at RDR1 as the book that J Marston wrote in GTAV. It has the basic info, not as much detail and past context and only really is skin deep in terms of exposition (compared to RDR2 and in respect to what we learnt in RDR2) and could be what Jack Marston gathered and wrote about what John did. If RDR1 got a full remaster, this could explain any added details that get added to reference RDR2 characters and events, as it’s actually what happened. Whereas the original RDR1 was just what Jack learnt and was told and wrote about. My head canon anyways.

  • @lai9986

    @lai9986

    3 ай бұрын

    (Yes I clearly know the reason it doesn’t reference RDR2 is that it didn’t exist yet, I’m just saying if remastered, it could be used to explain why, hence my headcanon)
