hi mike, do you think there will be a market crash near the end of 2024 or early 2025, and even gold will drop too, but after that the FED will step in with new QE even bigger than the QE during covid, that will spark 100%+ inflation and gold will get to US$20,000 by 2030-2032, is this about right? during massive inflation, what do you think the DOW and SP500 will do? could the dow get to 100,000, 250,000 with massive QE and inflation?

This & Mike's earlier video on taking delivery of his Tesla stocks are the two most enlightening videos on this channel, for me. & that's a hard title to top. It makes sense: I wouldn't deal with a bank that refused to dispense cash out of my deposits. If a stock brokerage can't get you the certificates on your stocks, then your ownership of them is window dressing.

Anyone know ab “private placements”? My only stocks are in Junior Miners bought via Fidelity. As a small time buyer, are private placements an option?

This sounds like what Bernie Madoff was doing. Those investors where just giving Madoff their money and he put the money into his bank account and gave them pieces of paper “entitlements” that appeared as if they owned their stocks and bonds.

Patrick Byrne is an interesting individual who identified and lectured on these issues almost 20 years ago. “FTDs” or “phantom shares” exist in large quantities, the extent of which is only truly known by a handful, if anyone. I believe Byrne generally has said 20% slop in the system at least. Also I thought settlement went to T+1 recently?

I have a bunch of mining shares. I don't have a margin account. My brokerage had recently put a message banner at the top of my portfolio advertising to me that I can loan my shares out to make some extra money with them. I declined. Why would I loan my shares out so that someone can short them against me? BTW - Your Tesla shares are getting hammered today.

In my opinion you are becoming paranoid. The broker acts as an intermediary and cannot rent your shares to others without your permission. In addition, your shares are held in a third-party account which is not part of the broker's accounting and assets. Moreover, to praise your actions to others, they need your permission and you will be paid for it. You're pushing the song a little too far for my taste. The laws exist and we are not yet in a dictatorial society where private property no longer exists.

No offense, you guys are great but too much talking about books in the beginning is gonna throw a lot of people off
