যথার্থ বলেছেন। রবীন্দ্রনাথ অই তীক্ষ্ণ তর্কের মানুষ নন তিনি তীক্ষ্ণ মরমী মানুষ। অই মরম কে মেধা বুদ্ধি সবসময় ধরতে পারে না।

Dr. Sarkar, I knew that Dr. Mesmer served as a professor of surgery at the Calcutta Medical College. Since there was no appropriate anesthetic agent yet known other than alcohol, he used to create a benumbing spell on his surgical patients to perform painless surgery. Hence the phenomenon of Mesmerism became widely known. Am I wrong? I add that, as you know, Diethyl Ether was first used as an anesthetic in 1854 at Harvard Medical School in Boston. If and really the Bengalees are hypnotized by Rabindtanath, why then Bengalees youth is not inspired by his Divine and Upanishadic songs ?They are prone to drinking and smoking and tend to lead a very gross materialistic life and enjoy life to the brim? No doubt there were and are great artists econimists and literateurs in and from Bengal. But everybody would admit that present day youth is direction less and not so much inspired by the spiritual teachings of Rabindranath and Swami Vivekananda. Bhogabad has intoxicated them and they indulge in all kinds of material enjoyment as widely seen in Kolkata. No Bengali youth is found in Bhakti movement preached by Isckon . I found in Mayapur in Nadia all devotees are from or outside or from rural Bengal and mostly foreigners. This state of affairs isa sordid state of affairs in all Indian states.

Not an.imterestestmg debate. Wish there is one debateter who has read the entire work of Tagore If so, the debate could have been more interesting ,diverse and educative. It appears at times morbid,a shpwer of panditi. Good luck.

There should be proper evaluation of Rabindranath not over or under evaluation. He was very talented no doubt but he should not be treated as God.

দেখুন 1:12:35 সঞ্জয় বাবু বলছেন যে আমাদের মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ইংরেজি অর্থপূর্ণ নয়। নেলসন ম্যান্ডেলা বলেছিলেন If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart. আমাদের মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর কাজের পরিধিটা বেশিরভাগই গ্রামের গরিবগুর্ব মানুষদের নিয়ে,আপনার মত আঁতেল দের নিয়ে নয়।

অভিনয় করা মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর কাজ নয়। তিনি নাটক লিখবেন না। তিনি সাহিত্য করবেন। নাটক আর ছবি সাহিত্য থেকে একটু ভিন্ন বোধ হয়। যাই হোক, এমন কথা হোক, যা হবে প্রবাদ স্বরূপ। মাথার ভেতর দিয়ে হৃদয়কে ছোঁবে।
