I think people keep overlooking how many heavy songs are in this album... I keep forgetting Resentment is in it, which slaps as hard as anything - same as Brick Wall, Bloodsucker and obviously Bad Friend. Let's not forget these guys are also VERY pop-punk to their core, which is what has made them as successful as they are today, still going strong making really catchy music... They're still holdin' it down for the underground as far as I can tell. Well done, boys! I'm enjoying it.

The FYE in Paddock Mall is still there to this day, my friend and I just went recently and picked up some YuGiOh cards lol
I know ADTR always switches up music and styles. Anyone surprised to hear a song like Bad Friend next to a song like High Diving just isn’t familiar with this band. That said, Resentment is an AMAZING song and even Mindreader was a strong entry, but these coming out early really set the bar high for this album that it DID not meet. I understand going pop, and that’s fine. But the songs are generic. The choruses, so repetitive. Most of the songs are shallow, which makes the album shallow. Resentment was such a great direction, and even Blood Sucker which I LOVE, is disposable after about 5 plays. Repetitive songs make them sound more like demos or stock music, giving them their generic feeling. I’m sure that makes them catchy for the radio or newcomers, but they just don’t stand the test of time. The songs are unfinished and lack payoff, and the album is cheap and uninspired.
Só queria legendas em português):, eu amo a day to remember ❤❤❤🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
The one rediculous thing about this album is that over 40 songs were made… that’s not a good sign… this can show that the record company is pushing the band. It also shows in a way the lyrics and songs don’t seem to have as much meaning… every album they made had very big meaning behind them and lots of thought. Because they wrote the songs and put there feelings into words I love this band because there lyrics and sound. The lyrics on this album seem so unbelievably common and boring…. They didn’t write them the problem with that is the person writing cant exactly communicate the feelings the same and it just isn’t good… I heavily am trying to like this album I really have been trying to… but overall I just can’t get into it… it’s the only album whoever I hear I skip over entirely… I feel bad… but I’ve been taught by musicians you really shouldn’t go to far from who you are… or your community because you don’t know how to write in the new style. I know I’m not positive at all with this but I don’t like this album Ik any way shape or form. I even heavily dislike the art work for the cover. For waiting for it I was expecting more.

You do realise that you aren't obligated to like every piece of music they put out right? Like they're at a point where they've been doing the same thing for so many years so they wanted to try something a little bit different. They know that is isn't going to be for everyone. I'm not a fan of most of the songs I've heard from the album, but I still respect them as a band and will support them regardless.
@blueneonpaw6611

@@jimboc669 I still support them and I do know this. I work with people who are in the music industry and a sign of having that many songs in a album is not a good sign. @jisazuramee1006
9 ай бұрын
@@blueneonpaw6611Yeah, but that's the point in a record label. They don't sign bands to be their friends, they do it to make profit on them. Honestly, ADTR has hit the point where a record label is *optional* and they could handle their own promotions, releases and ticket sales. They generate enough income that they could probably even start their *own* record label.

They seem genuinely annoyed that they had to watch what they put on the record, because they're on Fueled by Ramen. Rightfully so.
Brick Wall is weird, but not bad. Didn't like Mindreader at first but it's grown on me. Last Chance To Dance and Resentment are probably the best songs on the album. Everything We Need is cheesy feel-goodness, but it works for what it is. The rest of the album is generic, poor and boring. Definitely your worst effort yet guys. Jeremy posted on a photo album a picture saying that could be their last shit to record. Their famous song: all I want The beginning of the video: jeremy writing “thank you” Last album: “you’re welcome” Btw they are tired of that shitty comment about heavy songs, well, as an answer, “last chance to dance” is literally a last chance. 5 years for an album?
