Yes, you hardly ever see Loch Ness from the A82, apart from Urquhart Castle.

We stayed in Loch Ness Shores in August , it was lovely.

Very interesting watching the locks and the bridge move. A quaint and pretty place to spend the day I would think.

One of my favourite places, amazing piece of engineering. There are lovely walks up both the canal and the river which run parallel. But watch out for ticks, the Twa Westies chased after some rabbits, running through gorse bushes and came back covered in ticks. Spent an hour with a fine comb and a bucket of water to get rid of the little beggars.

Thanks, we are especially careful with Poppy now after she got one on her nose in the summer.

That was nice to see the boats going through the Loch gates, looks lovely there xx

Loved the video. It took us back to a few years ago on our trip to fort Augustus Please could you tell me the play list of music you use. Very relaxing. Just need a motor home now, for me and my husband and our to dogs.what would you say is the best 2 berth motor home for beginner? 😊

Thanks, the music is listed in the video description. I couldn't possibly say what the best 2 berth motorhome is for beginners, or everyone would be buying it! Seriously, buying a motorhome is nothing like buying a car, what suits some people won't suit others, it's more like buying a house, which is what it is, a small house on wheels. Look at some of my videos from shows, or dealers, there's something to suit everyone.

This brought back memories for us. We did the Caledonian canal in one of those cruisers in 2016. Was lovely until I took ill and didn't manage to finish the trip. Great video as always folks. Thank you. X

Going up the middle of Loch Ness was absolutely stunning. 😊
