Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it! If you can, make it a backpacking trip, so you can also go over Keasarge Pass. The view on the pass and the other side is amazing, too!

Yes they killed all the fish in Matlock Lake due to the yellow leg frog being endangered. The fish fed on the frogs. Too bad that was my favorite place to fish and camp. I had been backpacking there since 1967. All those years l don't recall seeing those frogs even at Bench Lake. Flower and Gilbert still have Trout in them. Maybe Heart lake on the pass still has trout.
