These past few days have all been marked by me experiencing failures, catching the most egregious of Ls in one way or another. From my camera going out of focus during a perfect rolling meet to a 33% successful catch rate, we have been dragging in the mud these past couple of days. Today, however, there is one catch in particular that I am looking out for in addition to some other surprise finds and goodies that'll come our way. Will we turn the tide and finally achieve a planned W?
No. You'll just have to see what I mean.

Spectacular shots and catches fill this very entertaining video... The shot of the coupling from above was amazing. Siemens wind mill generator with caboose and the two trains coming past the coal loads at the same time... Man you caught it all. Top Notch Stuff Bro. !!!
This is why for the most part, whenever I go out railfanning, unless I try really hard for certain units, I take what I get.

That may be part of it, but it's also to ensure the knuckles actually coupled correctly and won't come apart once the train starts moving.
Even though you kinda got a bad shot of 3987, at least you were able to catch it.

I actually saw this exact unit on a vacation to Cincinnati in early October. It was pitch black outside, parked on a siding, and shut down for the day, but was still an interesting find.

NS has definitely made some...questionable managerial decisions, but as for bankruptcy I don't see that happening. 😂
