Glad to see producers show that they can actually play instruments. The Daw is just a canvas

Yeah it's refreshing but also doesn't matter. A hit is a hit
@thesoundmajors9858

@@cordster515 actually it does. Contrary to your belief, not everyone cares about "making a hit" and people actually do care about musicianship and musicality
Its refreshing to see a producer actually playing the piano making his beats not just point and clicking the whole beat.

He doesn’t even play crazy on his beats… In this video he plays more than he does on 90 % of his beats

Man it don’t matter as long as you’re capable of making music drums and melody on your own without others help. We evolve so we not be playing some keyboard to make modern music.

@@thesecond8187 that is true bro very true, it just some people who use A.I lack soul in they beats which is why all beats are kinda wack these days.

He was 20-30 years advanced. Do your history on him. That man is a staple for Southern rap at first when he came out I didn’t respect him at all but after a few more listens to him back in 2010 & 2011 I became hooked and a f’kin’ fan. We can’t forget the man behind the musical beats and anthems Zaytoven! 🫡💯
How crazy this man in church church 😂 humble of himself.

Big fan of Zaytoven and love to see he's a family man
As a father who is an artist, producer, engineer, and sound designer i felt like I needed to see this. Its like God sent me here. I love his mentality and work ethic. I'm glad he plays instruments instead of just clicking and pasting. I play the piano as well and am getting better as you read this. Zay is a true inspiration to me and I'm wishing him and his family blessings. Hope we all win!

Gospel is at the ROOT of the Black American musical tree.
@zugootsprevasio6595
3 ай бұрын
Well technically the Roots of Black Music come from Africa. Gospel is more of an influence.
@urbannuance5151
3 ай бұрын
@zugootsprevasio6595 That's technically ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. Black Americans have a distinctively unique culture. There was an ETHNO GENESIS, in which Black Americans have created a culture that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Africa. We've been on this soil documented at least since the 1500s. We also have aboriginal heritage that ties us to this land. We are not AFRICAN by any sense of the word. Black Americans have more of a cultural continuity than Africa because Africa was COLINZED, and the countries were named by White Europeans during the 1800s in the BERLIN CONFERENCE. LOOK THAT UP, MR AFRICA. The creator of Afro beats "Fela Cuti" had to come to Black Americans to find the meaning of Black Pride and to get inspiration from Jazz and the other genres created by Black Americans. Don't EVER give our credit to Africa. We are CULTURALLY LIGHT YEARS advanced than Africa. We've got Gospel, Soul, R&B, Funk, Jazz, Disco, House, Techno, Hip-hop etc. All born from the LEGACY OF AMERICAN SLAVERY. It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Africa. Otherwise, they would have had those genres first. But they DIDN'T.
Never gets old watching someone live in there gift and create with God gifted talent 🙇🏾♂️
Producers like zaytoven are generational, these guys have their own sound, when you hear it you know it’s them.
One of my fav producers in the game
Huge blessup to my guy Zay!!! I've watched all of his past production vids as he dropped them. I'd have to say most people don't understand that Zaytoven is a Musician first Producer second, nor identify that his skillset is a way of life. It is easy to see that he is blessed with the gift of song, easily seen in the church session. As a former musician (Trumpet, French Horn, Mellophone, Keys) I appreciate watching Zaytoven in his creative space build the track from scratch. His unique sound is something that most producers aspire to obtain. Much love and blessings to Zaytoven. Keep them bangers coming my guy. Richmond VA- Ret. Army
This might be my new fav video
Yoooo this was amazing stuff man thank you for this I wish I could like this twice 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This is beautiful, man i love it
so inspiring, love the producer behind the scenes.
love the clips of Zay listening to different Lucid artists! dope vid
Zay is one of the most unique producers. Even on Future’s latest song Ain’t No Love I immediately knew Zay produced it bc his sound is unique.
I love this kind of stuff! More of this please!
loved watching this. i’ve been replaying his old producing vlogs, i needed something recent 😂
Loved every bit of this video
Content is incredible, love this so much, subscribed!! Even better than some (most) Netflix Docs.
One of the dopest vlogs ever , Zay is a living legend and still super humble this inspirational !!!
Appreciate when interviews like this cross my feed. Nothing but motivation 🔥
The best feeling for him was seeing his son get his shine on in that game!!! ❤
zaytoven is a good dude man. he reached out to one of my home boys thats a local artist trying to make his way up. he dropped a comment on his page bigging him up and pretty much stamping approval. that was very kind of him.
Loved this video
This video made my morning! Dude is the truth.. talented Music Producer salute Zaytoven
Watching Zay react to Milye!!! To see a legend hear the next wave for 3 seconds and say "yeah that's it", that's affirming right there, seems like such a dope dude
One of the most motivational vids out , thanks Zaytoven 😄😄

Big shouts to Lucid Monday
This was dope !
This shit is classic! 9029 Studios in was a warehouse in Oakland. which house multiple artist for over 20 years. My pops was there since 1996 when Green Day was there getting there name popping. Fast forward to the early 2000's Jacka, Husalah, FedX was in the building, J Stalin, Mistah Fab, Keak Da Sneak, Mac Dre, you name it everybody used to come through. JT The Bigga Figga was there and his studio was across from ours. I walked into his studio to see what was shaking and saw Zaytoveen in there making a beat on a MPC. You could tell he was fresh in it. Now look a him. An OG in the game. Lesson is stay humble.
Blessings as always.
wow.first minute already mind blowing
Beast Mode 2 is a classic album. So dope!! 🙌🏾

This the best documentary I’ve ever seen
Amazing 🔥

HARD !!!!
@ 17:20 👏🏼🙌🏼👍🏼💪🏼🔥 I need to hear more of his production!
I grew up Around Music. and no one played PIANO or SYNTHS... so I picked up the Piano and Keyboard. out of like wanting to be apart of it "the music", and be able to do something no one else was doing. everyone had there lane already around me, also why i started mixing and Recording. None of my friends did that, but they all played music.
3 minutes in and it's already a classic Zaytoven video (boy that percussion pattern he just did!?). All I need to hear is one of his homies saying "MADE from scratch 😎" IYKYK
I’ve been a fan of his since 2007.
this nigga a livin legend glad I grew up on his beats

Zay a real one for acknowledging Gucci 💯
big ups to zay, got to show our culture and our world to ‘em. show them that no matter how big we get or how big our works become, community and culture is our source, it’s real for us and it can never be faked. ✊🏾
🙏🏾🙏🏾pure motivation
Who else is making content like this?! So good!
His talent is utterly genius-level. Wow.
this was cool
Zaytoven🙌🏽
Zay never misses 🎯 💯
Man I look up to zaytoven.its so inspiring watching him cook. I wanna be as dope as him on the drum machine
Favorite producer 🔥🔥
Zay almost his own genre and when he says you can’t tell producers apart makes u thinkkk
My favorite producer, beast mode beats cannot be remade.
Zaytovwn is one of the few rap producers to make the organ & piano cool on tracks. Now it’s producers incorporating 🎸 & other instruments on their tracks. Plus he’s from the bay
Zaytoven is a legend…salute.
I love zaytoven man
Mad respect
I hope you have a very cajh day
